It seems like every night, as I'm falling asleep, I have the same dream. I am on the phone with this guy that I've liked for a few years now. I really want to tell him that I like him, but when I try he starts talking about this girlfriend he has at school. Then he asks me what I was gunna tell him and I just brush it off and say nothing. I get sad as he continues to tell me of his girlfriend and I feel lonely and then he abruptly says he has to go.

Obviously you have never told this guy you like him. Because this dream is strongly recurring with the same person in it, then this fact sure seems to bother you. You really should tell him about your feelings; it frightens you, but you should really learn to overcome this kind of fears. Even you realize this: what your dream really reflects is your fears about what will happen if you don't tell this guy. Just tell the guy, both in the dream and in the real world.

Recurring dreams often mean unresolved issues. In your case, relationship plays the most important part in your dream. Yes, talking to the guy directly will make the dream go away and yes you may feel lonely at times and that is why you are dreaming about him

your dream means exactly what it is saying. You want to tell him but you feel you can't overcome the attraction he has to other girls. you have low self esteem and are insecure. Your ego is easily hurt and you can't even take a chance and tell him.

It is a common problem in people. Women are especially unused to making the first move, and very sensitive to being rejected.

often a dream is a reflection of a notion that you hold in your mind. From what you described, its obvious that you're afraid of being hurt if you reveal your true feelings for this guy.
I'm pretty confident that if you tell him how you feel.. you'll be able to stop guessing, how he'll react. thus you wouldnt have that dream anymore.
cheers!

HOW OLD ARE YOU? You are afraid to or unable to give this fellow a real REAL chance. Wake up and give him a call, and tell him about the dream.. then ask him for a date

That's a pretty boring dream. It means you should do whatever you see fit and not take a dream into much consideration.

it means you want to tell him you like him but you don't think you can compete with his current girlfriend also your not sure if you can get him to like you more than his current girlfriend.
even though you like him alot you feel guilty about trying to take him away from someone he may actually care about.
