i have said i will change in the past and never did. we have been together for 3 1/2 yrs.
we have a 2 yr. old girl. she said she is sick of making excuses to stay together. our problem has been financial hardships since we have been together. she did want to have a family with me but now i don't know. i don't want to lose her. i will do anything to change my angry ways. any advice will be greatly appreciated.

What is the name of your state? I am in CA she is in WA

To make a VERY long story short. Girlfriend's mother just kicked her out of the house 3 months pregnant. I am now 18 (was 17 at time of conception so it was completly legal) she is 15. Her mother wants her to come live with me. But she will not sign any papers or take the proper channels to do this. The way it looks I am going to have to get her a plane ticket in the morning to come down to CA. Shes literally at the gas station with a bag. My problem is I realize I could get in serious trouble for her coming down here with me. She has no where to go but here. Her mother is the type of person that would call police once she got here though.

Is there anyway to get her down here tomorrow and me NOT goto jail for doing it? I really have no choice. Is there somewhere we can go when she gets here to make sure everything is okay for her to enroll in school, etc. I want this to be completly legal not a hiding in the closet type deal.

Ok, before I start, I'm not bashing any military people or veterans, most are very brave, hard working people. They do something I don't think I ever could. And I'm not making this a forum of debating the current war. I just have a question.
People say every war is us protecting our freedom. But this doesn't make sense to me. Most of the wars/skirmishes we've been in have been about protecting other people's freedom. We might be making the world a better place and helping people, but unless we are fighting a war on our own land or against terrorists, is it protecting "OUR" freedom? I just want some thoughts. Be nice and thanks.

I am graduating in Dec. with a degree in Elem. Ed. I really like kids, I KNOW I could be a good teacher, have had tons of experience, and have spent the past 5 yrs of my life working for it. However, I don't know if it's what I want to do at THIS time in my life. AHH!!!

My fiance and I are getting married next year and his job will easily support us. Don't get me wrong, I WANT to work, I just don't know if teaching is right for me at this point in my life. I have thought about doing something with weddings, but I haven't had any experience at it, other than planning my own.

My mom is a teacher (the biggest reason that I decided to become one). I don't want to disappoint my family because they have thought I was going to be a teacher all along, but I do want to do what's right for me in my life.

I feel like I'm back to freshman year, not knowing what I want to do. How do I decide what's right for me? Anyone ever experienced anything similar?

The 7 Dwarves are standing outside a convent. Then Happy goes and knocks on the door.

A nun answers and says "Can I help you, my child?"

Happy says "Are there any 3 foot nuns in this convent?"

The nun is puzzled, and says "No, there are no 3 foot nuns in this convent."

Happy thinks for a minute, then says "Are there any 3 foot nuns in this city?"

The nun says "No, there are no 3 foot nuns in this city."

So Happy leaves and forms a huddle with the rest of the dwarves. Then a few minutes later, Doc leaves the huddle and goes and knocks on the door.

The same nun answers and says "What now?"

Doc says, "Ok, are there any 3 foot nuns in this state?"

The nun says "No! There are no 3 foot nuns!"

Doc thinks, then says "Are there any 3 foot nuns in this country?"

The nun is starting to get mad, and says "NO! THERE ARE NO 3 FOOT NUNS!"

So Doc leaves and returns to the huddle. A few minutes later, Sleepy goes and knocks on the door. The same nun answers.

Sleepy says "Are there any 3 foot nuns on this continent?"

I'm 22 years old. My boyfriend and I have been dating for 6 and a half years (long time, I know). I've been living with him for 5 of the years. We buckled down and bought a condo last summer and just moved in 4 months ago. Ever since then I've been worried though..

If he asked me to marry him tomorrow, I couldn't say yes. I don't know if it's because I'm not ready to be married, or if it's because I dont want to marry him.

Here's the thing... he treats me really good. We share lots of common interests and values. Family loves him. And most importanly I love him. But is it possible to share all that, and he still not be the one for me? Why can't I shake this feeling?

I'm curious about what its like to be with someone else. This is the only man I've been with in my life. And sometimes I wish I had a chance to just be on my own. Gain some independance. But then I get scared of losing him.

I've been dealing with this for months, and I'm totally stuck. Anyone have any advice?
