In old testament times, homosexuality was punished by death !! Are we more enlightened, or sinning by not enforcing Gods' laws ??

Sinners ignore the Scriptural prohibitions against sins all the time. That includes me, when I do wrong. (As Scripture says, even the just man sins seven times a day.)

I can't be surprised that the gays (who are confused people looking for love in the wrong places) do the same.

Because TV and movies have made this so widely accepted that it's taken as, your OK I'm OK. The creator Yahweh said, this will bring curses to this world.( Isa. 24:1-6. )The catholic Church has men in high offices that started doing this to little boys and confusing their minds long ago. It's a problem that's growing worse and the diseases of this world are multiplying. Today there are over 125 STD's that are spread daily, some are air born. Yes, sin is being committed by not up holding this law. This world will soon see the destruction that these STD's have caused because these laws were not kept. When people have problems having children, it's because of not keeping all of Father Yahweh's laws.

You want to know why I ignore it?

Lev. 11:12
Anything living in the water that does not have fins and scales is to be detestable to you.

Meaning don't eat shellfish.

Lev. 11:26
Every animal that has a split hoof not completely divided or that does no chew the cud is unclean for you; whoever touches the carass of any of them will be unclean.

Meaning you can't eat things like pork.

Lev. 19:19
Keep my decrees. Do not mate different kinds of animals. Do not plant your field with two kinds of seed. Do not wear clothing woven of two kinds of material.

Lev. 19: 26 - 28
Do not eat any meat with the blood still in it. Do not practice divination or sorcery. Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard. Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the Lord

Lev. 20:18
If a man lies with a woman during her monthly period and has sexual relations with her, he has exposed the source of her flow, and she has also uncovered it. Both of them must be cut off from their people.

So why to Christians think it's ok to ignore things like this, but condem gay people to hell without a second thought?

We're more enlightened. People also ignore the part of the bible that says "let he who is without sin cast the first stone".
And one of the Ten Commandments is "thou shall not kill", therefore sentencing anyone to death is not God's law.

Why do Christians ignore Leviticus 15:19-30?

In Old Testament times- goats were sacrificed in exchange for God's favors. Are we any MORE enlightend in these times because we now just PRAY to HIM for what we want? The Bible was written, edited & re-edited by a handfull of white males of a certain age & intellect. They were JUST as human as you & I- & equally prone to having biases, prejudices, issues- and of making mistakes. You can worship the Bible- and believe in all the potential issues those men included with God's word when they put it together; -or you can worship God, and have the FAITH that maybe He has his own "reasons" for making things the way they ARE as far as sexual issues are concerned. It is not for us to decide what is "wrong" for someone else. That's for God to judge, NOT for the Bible to decide.

You have answered your own question in saying that that's what happened in the Old Testament.
Jesus Christ did not do away with the law when He came at the first advent. No. No He did not, but He fulfilled the Old with the New.
Homosexuality is still punishable by death. But it is Jesus Christ who will past sentence for vengeance is Mine saith the Lord.><>

Because it's out of a two thousand year old story book you idiot. We have medical science now which says they are born that way. Grow up and get a life instead of trying to tell others how to live theirs.

Cause it's a book.

Do you believe everything that Harry Potter does? Or Sherlock Holmes?

Would you care about a book that said all the people that are Christians were killed and are in hell because it is god's will? No, so why should homosexuals care about what your wrinkly old book says.

Wearing clothing made of two different types of cloth is also punishable by death according to Lev. 20. So, can I stone you?
