As a chemist I had to check out the 'chemistry' section of Yahoo questions. I figured I would tackle a few questions as a way to repay the folks that have been answering my 'lawn and garden' questions. I do believe that we chemists are doing the homework for the next batch of chem graduates. I hope they are thinking about their questions critically and not blindly posting them.

This is really an inappropriate post, but this seemed to be the place to hit the right audience.

I have been given some trees which I have to dig up. One is a live oak about 10-12 feet tall, 6 inches in diameter. Is it feasible to even attempt moving that one? Or should it just be cut down?

Because "The War on Terror" is not a traditional war, antiquated methods of fighting are obviously not very effective. The Geneva Convention is good in alot of ways but very limiting for the current "war" we are fighting. I purpose that since the Geneva Convention is not being upheld by Muslim militants when engaging our military, it is usless to maintain. Why fight with your hands tied behind your back? Knowing that we are unable to engage hospitals, mosques, ambulances and civilians they are hiding behind each of these. They are not fighting "by the rules" why should we continue to give them an upper hand? By simply withdrawing from the Geneva convention, and any other global network that causes us to be held back we wouldn't have to worry about breaking their rules. Each and every soldier would have the freedom to use their own sense of when and where it is necessary to eliminate our enemies. Morality is indeed very important we should form our own rules. What do you think?

store. My brother gets out of the car and goes skipping through the parking lot. My son asked me what he was doing. I jokingly said he was acting like a fairy. My son got out of the car and started skipping behind him. I asked my son what he was doing and he said "I'm following the fairy." I hit the floor laughing. please list them in order according to your religion. then try to explain what each means to you. it will be interesting to note the many differences. also please specify where you found them, what scripture etc. there are many versions, each from different places and some just changed for convenience (EX:catholics delete the rule against graven images/ idols).
it seems wrong to tinker with gods word but many do.

i know they've caught 3 different sets of middle eastern men( not neccesarily terrorists ) buying hundreds of cellphones at a time in the upper penninsula of michigan and mid michigan. have they really caught more people in other states doing the same thing??? this is really, really weird and a little bit scary....

Im due today! This past week has drug on so slow! I'm tired of being on bedrest to be honest. Does anyone have any ideas on how to pass the time. One of the most important parts of my makeup routine is when I take eyeliner and line the INSIDE of my top eyelids. Usually, people line the outside, slightly above the lashes, but I've tried this numerous times and I always make the line too high. The next best thing is lining the inside, which makes the eyeliner not too noticeable but makes your eyes pop out. I do NOT want to sacrifice doing this, but there are two problems:

1. I wear contacts and doing this may dry them out or irritate them.
2. I have a hard time finding an eyeliner that will not line the inside of my BOTTOM lids after blinking a few times!

Does anyone have any tips? Or is there anyone else out there who does what I do? I know you will tell me that it is not safe and I shouldn't do it, but I really have to. Suggestions, please!

Why do people still think its a big deal when 16 year olds get pregnant and people having sex before their married?

Im still a virgin and everything and I want to have sex after marriage but its so annoying when really conservative people think its a big deal when a 16 year old gets pregnant or people have sex before their married. It's not a big deal! I hate when really conservative people look down on people who are sexually active because its not a bad thing. Some people prefer to wait after marriage and some people don't. I wish people were more open-minded.
