It has become apparent in America that regardless of the kind of how safe the neighborhood actually is, monorities drive down property value. How do you see the situation?

Regular snap traps seem to do the best for us. Glue traps are cruel and don't kill them, they just suffer. Bait traps don't seem to work at all. How do you prevent them from getting in the house to begin with? I have heard steel wool and moth balls work, do they?

I am planning to relocating to the USA but am not sure if I am going to be able to make the payments,if i was to not pay my UK debts how likely is it that the UK creditors will find me in the USA and if they did what kind of trouble would i be in? Also will my UK debts affect my credit in the USA?

I find it funny how most people cringe at the sight of a rat but squirrels are far more acceptable. The only difference I can see is their tails. What are your thoughts?

I am not refferring to the 10 lb subway rats you find in the city.

My sister had her baby . And he is 5 now. But i was part of his life because they lived with us since he was 2 years old. I used to be healthy then, i could run, and be happy. But now i've acquired several injuries and illnesses for example knee damage. I cna't run much anymore. With my sister's baby, i would have so much fun with him, running, being silly, and jumping around and teaching him how to exercise etc but i can't do any of that anymore. I'm 26 and although it doesn't seem like i will ever find a partner, i hope for it, and i think about having a baby. being that i'm not a person of many words, i'm not a talker, what can i do to have great fun with my baby? I don't want to just sit around but if that is the case, i guess i gotta get good at speaking.

A girl I was having sex with for years decided to come off the pill without telling me and had a child. when the paternity test came back positive i decided to see the child. However i feel nothing for it's mother. We' ve now discovered the child is very ill and will need a lot of medical care. I am seperated and have a grown up family. I will continue to see the child but i don't want to play "happy families" with it's mother. how can i get her to understand and accept this.Please...... sincere answers only.

I posted an answer to a hateful and venomous question about Jews in Yiddish because I thought it was appropriate. I said "Kush meer in toches" "Ver derharget" and "A broch tsu dayn lebn!" and some raving lunatic got offended that it couldn't understand what I said and reported me and they removed my post (what cowards!). So here's a translation: "Kush meer in toches" means Kiss my ***! "Ver dergarget" means Drop dead! and "A broch tsu dayn lebn!" means A curse on your life! Now it's understandable, okay?

This is my 1st pregnancy and I'm nervous about a couple of things...1st I'm not showing much, just a little poochy. I had my ultrasound this last week and the baby measured 1wk further along than we thought, and the doc said my uterus is where it should be. But, I still don't LOOK pregnant??? 2nd I have a fetal heartbeat doppler I use and the baby always seems to be down by my hairline, and I feel him kick really low down there too. When does the baby start getting higher in my tummy? Thanks!!!!

Let's start with the premise that as a society, certain minimal benefits need to be provided by the government: roads, emergency services, law enforcement, defense. Those ensure that society keeps functioning. The rest are social and regulatory programs: public education, welfare, environmental protection, etc.

What if we changed the model. Everybody pays a flat property tax if they own property, and everybody pays a flat income tax. Those funds pay for the necessary minimum essential services listed above, but not for social programs. Anything left over goes into a pool, which every citizen gets to draw from in equal shares. You decide how to use the draw money.

No more free public education, but you can use your draw to pay for costs of school. No more welfare, but you can use your draw. Or you can pocket it. Whatever you want.

This model provides the same benefits as the current tax system, but people don't have to pay for any services they don't want.

Could the system work?

This guy that I've known for about 6 months. He's flirted before then started acting really nice but just in a friendly way. Started making more eye contact then before. But about a month ago he came over to give me work. This is how I know him. He gave it to me and just stood there with his arms over my cubicle. So I tried making personal conversation with him. He acted really shy and nervous and acted as if he didn't want to. But when he left he smiled at me and really looked into my eyes. But as I was leaving the building he saw me and again smiled big and looked at my lips I felt like. But then looked down the whole way out wouldn't look at me. The next day when I past him he looked at me hesitanly but then an hour later was tring to get my attention by sneaking up on me. Then looked at me with a big smile and just kept looking at me. But then he went back to no eye contact at all. But then a week went by and I bumped into him in the hall and I had to hand him somethi

It clearly states in Ezekial 18:19-20
19" `What?' you ask. `Doesn't the child pay for the parent's sins?' No! For if the child does what is right and keeps my laws, that child will surely live. 20The one who sins is the one who dies. The child will not be punished for the parent's sins, and the parent will not be punished for the child's sins. Righteous people will be rewarded for their own goodness, and wicked people will be punished for their own wickedness.
So I don't really get the whole Catholic tradition of "origable sin"

We have been together over 6 years and I have no reason to believe he has ever cheated yet I am still paranoid. I accuse him of cheating or a desire to ( AND CALL IT JOKING ). Then when he gets angry I ask him why are you angry? I was only joking he is still upset. I have only done this 20 or so times in the 6 years we've been together ,why can he not see the fun and humor in accusing him of cheating on me ( again and again). He is upset by this sort of thing pretty much every time I do it . When will he think having accusations directed at him is fun and humerous. After all (I AM ONLY JOKING).
