This is my 1st pregnancy and I'm nervous about a couple of things...1st I'm not showing much, just a little poochy. I had my ultrasound this last week and the baby measured 1wk further along than we thought, and the doc said my uterus is where it should be. But, I still don't LOOK pregnant??? 2nd I have a fetal heartbeat doppler I use and the baby always seems to be down by my hairline, and I feel him kick really low down there too. When does the baby start getting higher in my tummy? Thanks!!!!

everyone shows different, consecutive pregnancies show earlier due to the fact the uterus is already a bit larger, it never goes fully back to pre pregnant size, so if this is your first and your not showing much its completely fine as long as the baby is viable and growing normally. Ive known some people to not show much at all til the very end, so dont worry, be happy your not a big cow like i am at 36 weeks!

YOu are fine, I didn't show until I was 8 months along. The doppler can be hard to use at home to determine. Because you might be hearing your heartbeat instead which will only cause stress. But it is safe to use.
He will feel higher in the belly at about 7 months. That is when I felt him kick my ribs. Ouch.

Poochy is ok, don't worry about not showing yet, that will happen. As far as the baby getting higher up, that will happen also, when he or she runs out of room! Good luck and congrats

Well in your first pregnancy you dont show as soon so wait a few more weeks. In your second pregnancy you will show much faster.
