It is not male - it is mail. Male is man - Mail is letter delivered by means of postal system and now it is internet, they are called emails.
It is very simple. if you know his address, write a letter. or if it is going to create a problem, write a letter, keep it in a book of interest, hand it over to him and tell him to read and ask him to give a reply - oral or written.
or if you have his email id: send some emails expressing your intention. done.
