My kids had to go stay with their dad tonight. I get a call from my daughter who is crying. Telling me she wanted to come home, because her dad and her were fighting since she got in the car. He later got in her face, screaming at her. My daughter was afraid of him, and she wanted me to come and pick her up. But the court order state he gets visitation every other weekend. He took me to court for contempt a few months back, because she was refusing to go with him, the judge did not find me in contempt. My Daughter is 14. To make a long story short I called the local police and had them check in on her. They gave her the option to leave and she kept saying "I don't no" So she is still there. What would you have done and where do I go from here. My EX husband is a real controlling person, and has a temper. I am afraid for my daughter. The reason she did not leave is because she was afraid it would make him more mad, and she doesn't want me in trouble with him.

i was able to train it to step up on my finger but when i went on vacation for about 3 days it started to "action" to bite.... i know they sometimes do it to check the stability of the perch but it seemed like it just wanted to bite me..... could you give me any advice?

My daughter (in law) in 26 and my son is 33. Expecting their first child, after 4 years of marriage. I want to buy her some gifts...she is 4 months, that she would like to pamper herself. Like bath oils, stuff.....any suggestions would be great! Somethings that she would not buy for herself, nor my son.
No clothes yet.....or baby items.....Just for her....thank you for any answers.
I have three children..all adults now.....However, no-one thought of that...
I think some of us Mom's to be, would enjoy that.

Why does it say that there is much value in circumcision when Jesus came to set us free from the law? Physical circumcision is errilevent.

How do you know a guy probably likes you? Then tell me what you think about this. I have known him for a little more than a year, we have cybered several times. He talks to me at school, I am a little shy so I don't usually start conversations with him. He says hi almost everytime he sees me. We have started talking more in person as opposed to online. and he is always telling me I am beautiful, he even wrote it in my annual. He tells me he is glad we met and that we are such good friends, and he has never tried to really get me to have sex of any kind with him. He has had a few GFs when we weren't really talking that much online but he has always broken up with them when we started talking alot again. He even asks me to talk to him more ta school. Is it just me or does anybody else miss the 90's? Great music, great TV, great movies, great Clintons, relative peace throughout the world. Ignorance was bliss, and bliss was the 90's. Anybody else agree?

many american's philosophy is "love it or leave it"

of course they are reffering to people in america who complain too much, therefore should leave since they are unsatisfied

well, when (legal) mexicans come into the united states and wave mexican flags (which is completely legal, within their rights, and not against the law), speak spanish, spread their culture, religion, and heritage, why do people complain about this?

this is america! the melting pot for all races. of course a group of people who come from another land are gonna bring their culture and some of their country with them.

and yet, so many people complain that america needs to be rid of a lot or all of "mexico"

so my question is, isn't it true that since america is now odopting some of mexico's style, it has become part of america? and those complaining should either love it or leave it?

I realize that this is just "for fun", but this "text shorthand" is getting out of hand. Why can't people just type the word? I am a middle school teacher and finally had to tell my students that if they use text messaging code, the answer will be counted wrong.

I've been trying to get Outlook Express to work and I can't. Even the troubleshooting isn't helping.
