oh or course. Meth junkie for 5 1/2 years. Clean and sober 2 1/2 years next Wednesday. Go to a lot of meetings and maintain concious contact with a God of my understanding.

Very interesting question.
Yes i have(lost count actually).
And Ive done other drugs(MDMA,mushrooms,cocaine)
I was discussing this with someone who asked about the whole drug culture.
I did 12 hours of pot a day in high school, allot compared to my one weekend a month or not even that sometimes.
I discussed how it really depends on the person to throw their life in substance dependence.
I for instance was an honor student in high school, and now I'm in med school.
I currently have an offer for my USMLE step 2 at Harvard medical.And i also do research on stem cells at my university.
i give anatomy courses when i have time.
And in general im smart responsible and stable.
I think it really depends on the person, moving towards other drugs for harder effects. I like to experiment and try diff things but i don't get hooked actually i like smoking pot more then drinking or smoking(wich i don't do) either.

I have smoked pot with alcohol many times. But I have never done any other drugs nor will I. For me the pot is just about the same as the alcohol, no worse. I am 36 years old.

Of course. I'm assuming that your very young. I think it's an important part of growing up. You can really learn alot about yourself as well as others. Don't think it's wise to try them together for the first time or to try either if you are very young. Make sure when you do, your with Friends that you trust. Most likely, you'll get sick the first few times you drink. Try not to feel to pressured to do either, those people might not be your real friends. But, everyone does things to fit in. You just have to be careful not to overindulge too much.

Quit drinkin' 20 yrs ago..Dr.'s orders...and I went thru high school in the early
70's and tried every drug there was..I survived it luckily..The only thing I do now is my lil' secret but I am not a hypocrite,nor naive,and my life has never been better than the past 15 years..Some people consume drugs,some drugs consume people,its up to them what they want to make of their own lives..and kids..just say NO!

I've gotten drunk lots of times. I've never smoked pot or tried any harder drugs.

Yes, I did, and no, I did not go on to more potent drugs. I'm doing just fine. I found as I matured and gained more self-esteem, I just didn't need those crutches to have fun and feel good.

Pot did not lead to other drugs for me, but that was years ago, I'm a responsible adult now.
