i've had my hair straightener for over a year now and it has started to release a gross burned smell when it heats up that seriously stinks up the whole house. i figure that it does this because it's dirty but what do i use to clean it? i'm getting a new one soon, but what should i do for now?

Here is like my life.....
1. I want a puppy because I love training puppies.
2. I go to school for six hours of the day. [ Crate? ]
3. I would bring it to my dads house [ because I visit him ] every-other week? [ or is this bad for the puppy? ]
4. The youngest person in my house is 9 years old. The oldest is 40.
5. I live in a 2 story house [ big-ish medium ]
6. We have a huge yard. [ no fence yet so for now i would take it out on a leash and then for playing I would just make sure it doesnt go out of the yard] but we are getting one
7. Big neighborhood [ lots of kids ]
8. My aunt is a vet.
9. Small size dog
10. Shedding: none to moderate.

Why when you start chatting with a girl for the first time your first question to her is 'got any pics?' ? I don't get it, are you all that physically superficial? And why is that even if you are going to attempt to be a friend with a girl that you know nothing would ever happen because of the distance between you or even a age difference........ You still want and require to see a pic??? I have gone through this a few times and because I couldn't produce a pic I was not spoken to anymore........ which is their loss, i am very attractive and smart and 100% woman....... so i am not angry about this, this is their problem. ............. however I am errked by it. So please, Why is the first thing you say to a girl 'got any pics?' ? I really want to know. Please don't be mean, this is a real question that I would like to understand.......... Thanks.....

I AM 38 WEEKS AND I HAVE CONTRACTIONS AT NIGHT, SEEMS ALL NIGHT. I DONT GET ANY SLEEP. THE CONTRACTIONS DONT HURT TO MUCH BUT THEY DO HURT MY BACK REALLY BAD. There is a big difference between hating people and hating what people are doing. I believe that few people hate Mexicans but hate what they are doing.
1. Coming here illegally
2. Burning the American flag
3. Getting benefits that Americans cannot get
4. Trying to make Spanish our language or second language.
5. Etc.
We are a country with an established culture and language. Americans have street fairs and holidays (i.e. Cinco de Mayo) which allow ALL cultures to celebrate respectfully and respectively. Why should Americans give up both OUR language and OUR established culture to satisfy another group?
