It is oxidized blood.
Unless it is a lot, or all the time, talk to the doc.
If it is just a little at the end of your period, don't worry about it too much, but mention it at your next exam to be sure.
I am not a doctor, & I am sure there are few on this forum, but I have experienced it at the end of my period on ocassion.

Sometimes the blood will come out as brown int he beginning or towards the end. If that is the case then its normal. But if its brown all the time then you should see a doctor.

Usually it means that you are beginning your period and it also means that your period has come to an end. I usually get it at the end, but there have been times when I've seen it at the beginning as well....no worries

Brown period blood is considered old blood that has just taken longer to reach the outer orface of the vaginal area.

nothing to worry about
the darker the blood it simply means it is "old" blood. perhaps your period was a little later than usual. sometimes our bodies do not release all the blood at the same time and some of it is older than the rest.

probably nothing to be wprrying too much about. could mean that the blood is old? but im not sure, only guessing.
try www.wedmd.com that website should be able to help you. meanwhile, seeing a doctor for your peace of mind is an option.

Like was previously stated, usually it's just the end or beginning of your cycle and it is completely normal.
