I love grilled, BBQ chicken. And, sine you are already eating with your hands, holding the corn, why not do the same with your chicken? Just have plenty of paper towels handy.Enjoy!
Also, a tip I learned from my daughter.
Fill a wide mouth quart jar half full with hot water, add a stick (+/_) of melted butter. This way, you can dip your corn into the jar and butter it, without having it spread all over the plate. Works great!

With corn on the cob.. I like buttor and salt on it.. but as a side dish, one can have anything from beefsteak to pork chops. Personally, I prefer corn on the cob with crispy fried chicken even though I know it is not good if you are on a diet.

Why don't we just figure out a way to make paper from the corn cobs and husks?

Hmmm... you DO know that paper comes from trees, right? It's nothing but cellulose, and takes up a lot less volume than corn cobs. If you're dead set on composting, it will compost a lot quicker, too ;-)

A juicy grilled steak and a scoop of homemade potato salad. Add some iced tea to drink and you're ready to eat.
