Islam teaches the best way of life with honour , respect and obey to God. Islam forbids adultary, drinking alcohal and racism. Islam says all human beings are equal and if someone is better than other , it is only because how poise he is. Islam teaches tolerance for other religions and stirctly instruct the muslims to protect non-muslims, their lives , properties and their worship places that even in wars Islam stricly forbids not to harm children, women and old persons. Islam says respect your parents and dont speak loundly in front of them. Islam finished slavery and gave max respect to women. In Islam, the status of mother is extream high and tells that heaven is under the feet of a mother. If you want to get heaven, respect and obey your mother. Islam says if you have 3 daughters and you educate and bring them up in a good way, those parents will go directly to heaven after death. Islam says that if you have taken the food and your neighbour is hungry, you are commiting big sin....

A minister has just died and is standing in line waiting to be judged and admitted to Heaven. While waiting he asks the man in front of him about himself. The man says, "I was a taxi driver from New York City."

The angel standing at the gate calls out "next," and the taxi driver steps up. The angel hands him a golden staff and a cornucopia of fruits, cheeses, and wine and lets him pass. The taxi driver looks pleased and proceeds through the gates into heaven.

The minister begins to think about the richness he'll get upon his entrance.

But instead, the angel hands him a wooden staff and some bread and water.

The minister is very concerned and asks the angel, "That guy is a taxi driver and gets a golden staff and a cornucopia! I spend my entire life as a minister and get next to nothing! How can that be?"

The angel replies, "Up here we judge on results. All of your people slept through your sermons. In his taxi, they prayed."

there may be some sort of supreme being. can't prove it one way or the other. not really. we all just happen to be living in this very very small 2000 year time period. 2000 years over the span of 4-5 billion years is quite minute. christiananity just happens to be the one of the religious beliefs of our time. if we lived 10 thousand years ago we'd be talking about whether we should worship the sun or not. religous belief has a lot to do with what your taught to believe. it becomes your point of reference. can we all just look at the big picture and get rid of the tunnel vision. i know religous belief gives people security and comfort and that's ok. like in a question i possed last evening, isn't about time we grow up and keep religion in it's proper place. i would like your comments please.

As I grow in age, I value women who are over 50 most of all. Here are just a few reasons why:

A woman over 50 will not lay next to you in bed and ask, "What are you thinking?" She doesn't care what you think.

If a woman over 50 doesn't want to watch the game, she doesn't sit around whining about it. She does something she wants to do. And, it's usually something more interesting.

A woman over 50 knows herself well enough to be assured in who she is, what she is, what she wants and from whom. Few women past the age of 50 give a darn what you might think about her or what she's doing.

Women over 50 are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with you at the opera or in the middle of an expensive restaurant. Of course, if you deserve it, they won't hesitate to shoot you if they think they can get away with it.

Older women are generous with praise, often undeserved. They know what it's like to be unappreciated.

A woman over 50 has the self-assurance to introduce you to her women friends. A younger woman with a man will often ignore even her best friend because she doesn't trust the guy with other women.

Women over 50 couldn't care less if you're attracted to her friends because she knows her friends won't betray her.

Women get psychic as they age. You never have to confess your sins to a woman over 50. They always know.

A woman over 50 looks good wearing bright red lipstick. This is not true of younger women or drag queens.

Once you get past a wrinkle or two, a woman over 50 is far sexier than her younger counterpart.

Older women are forthright and honest. They'll tell you right off if you are a jerk if you are acting like one. You don't ever have to wonder where you stand with her.

Yes, we praise women over 50 for a multitude of reasons. Unfortunately, it's not reciprocal. For every stunning, smart, well-coifed hot woman of 50+, there is a bald, paunchy relic in yellow pants making a fool of himself with some 18-year-old waitress.

For all those men who say, "Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free," here's an update for you: Nowadays 80% of women are against marriage. Why? Because women realize it's not worth buying an entire pig just to get a little sausage.

I follow the news in Iraq closely, and have been very upset by two incidents in particular: the events at Haditha and the rape/murder of a young Iraqi girl and her family. I realize this is a war and it's far from pretty out there. As an American I am trying to understand what is pushing our men to commit such atrocious acts? Yes, there's the 'few bad apples' theory, but can a good apple be turned bad? I can only imagine the stress our troops are under in such a war zone. What I want to know is: what are our soldiers thinking about this war right now?

I am sick of hearing our disconnected politicians pontificate about this war, and want to seek the truth. I am very interested in knowing more from our soldiers' point of view - serious thoughts/answers only, please.
