What do you think about mexicans?

I'm talking about any mexican with a legal status.

I think they (race)are mix of spannish, arabs, native indians and chineese but mainly spanish with arab

It's hard to say what I think about "any mexican with a legal status"? That would be like asking what I think of any white person. People of all races, colors, etc... are all individuals. Some are great people, some are assholes. That goes for every nationality I can imagine.

I have lived among Mexican-American or Spanish-American people for 59 of my 65 years and for the most part I have found them warm, loving, talented and hardworking people.

I have visited the interior of Mexico and have found the people there to be friendly and warm.

There have been times when I have been subjected to mistreatment by some Mexicans, who resented all Gringos. These have been a very small minority.

Generally, I have found them to be patriotic and good citizens.

I think they're from Mexico.

Seriously, though, I've known a lot of illegal workers who were trying to get legal status after being in the US and having jobs, etc. Just like any population, some are great people and some are not. All of them were very hard workers, though.

they are no better than you and I. They too have a dream of having the good things in life. They too have their bad habits like everyone else. They too love their families and are good providers like most of us. They too, legal or illegal, are peace loving people and work hard for what they have. Mexicans are very proud people and will share their last meal with a stranger.

I have no problem with them at all. One of my best friends was Mexican and I learned tons from her. I think it's great that I can make tortillas from scratch and have been able to since i was 14.
I think a lot of you get a bad rap. I knew so many that were so kind and fun to be with.
Why can't everyone be like that?

Mexicans are the shiznit....... I love me a Mexican that contributes to our society. Good point princess I just hate any person that comes here and America grants them citizenship, then they hate and talk crap about America. People like that should not be here. It's wrong. But I still love me some legal Mexicans.....Rafael Hehehe you have my dads middle name.

Why must you lump people together into an ethnic group? If we are going to make progress against discrimination then we must see people as individuals, not some stereotypical grouip.

Now if you want to specify a group on the basis of activity such as "gangs" at least the stereotype can be addressed with respected to the observed behavior of that group.

Mexicans who are here legally are as welcome as any other group of legal immigrants, why wouldnt they be? The debate really doesn't have anything to do with race or ethnicity, but more about the security and financial aspects of illegal immigration from wherever ...

I think they are great and just like anyone they need to come to the States legally. I just hate our INS system. I don't understand why they get free education. The health is understandable. The reason why I bring up education is I know that in Mexico that illegals there cannot get free education. Can you explain this to me?

Mexicans are fine, they are people. I like some and I don't like some.
