My husband is in the delayed entry program. He married me one month ago and then left me 4 days ago for his ex-girlfriend from high school. I found out two days later (yesterday) that I am pregnant. He has not been to boot camp yet. What, if anything, will the military do? Will they make him give me money after he goes to boot camp? Is it different because he hasn't been yet? He did already go to meps. He got a 95 on his AFQT or whatever (asvab score), but now he is saying he hurt his back. He is married to me, but he lives with his girlfriend, who doesn't want him to join. Doesn't he have to now? He told his recruiter he hurt his back, and they said military surgeons would fix it, he just has to sign waivers. I just want to make sure I get help, financially, for the baby. I'm scared that he doesn't want to go now, and I don't want him to get in trouble for adultery or malingering, because I really will need help from him. Do I talk to his recruiter?

In many countries in the MIddle East, if you do not believe in their religion, you can get the death penalty. But in the United States, we have the first Amendment. It guarantees the freedom of speech, but it also does more than that. It also give every American the freedom of press and freedom of religion. I think that the fredom of religion is what ticks of all those dumba s s terrorists. To them, if we dont believe in their god, then we deserve to die for that reason.

Anyone agree/disagree?

they do not like me the same way because I'm shorter than them. Why do women feel they need a taller man and are they just shallow because of it?

I was raised Catholic, (baptised, recieved first communion, and confirmed)....but I was forced into going to church and because of that, I HATE churches. I think my parents' plan really backfired.
BUT I think that I've reached a point in my life that I need to be around more positive people and provide better role models for my kids. I also want to become a "second time virgin" and meet a great Christian guy (I want the best father for my girls). And I want to wait till we get married before we sleep together. I do beleive that it helps prevent a lot of marriage problems. So my question is, how could I meet such a guy, and become Christian without going to church. I really don't like churches.!

I like this man. I want to like this guy. He seems so nice but I honestly don't see think he is funny. He is very un-funny in my opinion. I walked out on "Bewitched" the movie because of him. That could have been such a cute movie. They had Shirley MacLaine as Endora and Nicole Kidman was the perfect Samantha! I don't think any other actress could have pulled it off but this guy was such a complete A with two S's.

My younger brother is off to college soon, and my mother seems to being having "empty nest" syndrome-

I love her and I'm positive she knows that- I tell her all the time how much I love and appreciate her- When I can I spend time with her ( I live in several hundred miles away-) and I always remember to send cards and call on special days-

Other than that I call her about 2-3 times a week to let her know what is going on in my life- and we talk about what's going on in hers..

But what my question ( primarily to all the mothers out there is..)
What can I do to let her know I cherish her ?
Is there little things that your children do that mean SO much?
I know this is a hard time for her and I'm not able to physically "be there " for her - I want her to know that I'm here for her emotionally
