Anything to do with soft drinks or with technology-or toys.
Like that Ticlke-Me-Elmo. That was the craze. If I only knew what I know now, man, I could have lived off that deal alone.
Other then that, Microsoft and Coco-Cola, even the Pepsi-Cola company (which I would prefer considering I like Pepsi) would be a fine choice. Oh, and Hershey. That is another company I would go for as well.

I'd say Microsoft, Google, and Berkshire Hathaway. My parents used to say that had they invested just $10,000 in Subaru stock in the mid-80's, they'd have nothing to worry about now. I'm not sure how accurate that is, but either way, hindsight is 20/20.

A friend of mine bought stock in Harley Davidson in the early 80's for next to nothing. Now when he needs a little extra money he sells of a share or two and he's good to go.
