Perhaps a more technical question should be, is terraforming Mars possible?

The answer to both, in my opinion, is no. Earth has enough troubles as it is. Why would we want to move those difficulties to another planet?

Not until we can be trusted with our own planets well being should we begin tampering with others.

Anyway, there are probably far better (or at least more interesting) things in other galaxies.

The fact that the Alaskan oil pipe is corroded and no one is even questioning the environmental impact of that is outrageous... we need to focus on THIS planet right now...

no-too expensive; not enough return on the enormous investment. Better to try the moon first. Still unaffordable. Maybe pull in some larger astoriods and put them in orbit around the earth.
