I had planned to go but could not get a baby sitter. My boyfriend is planning to go on to the party without me. I feel really sad about it, he has not left yet , but he is getting ready to leave... should I be mad, upset, down? I feel like really mixed about it. What should I do?

During the first and second world wars, America was extremely reluctant to commit it's armed forces. The public was vehemently anti-war. During the second world war, it brought its military production up, surpassing all other nations, except Russia perhaps. This also had the bonus of providing an economic boom. They also had the first atomic bombs, which I think, to their shame, they had to drop on civilians. Wow, the first one worked, lets play it again Sam. It made 9/11 look lke a babies burp in my opinion. Strangely, they get all indignant when other nations want some atomic bombs. Also, when a nation gets one, they seem very reluctant to commit themselves to invasions in those areas. Then after the second world war, they saw Russia as a threat, probably jealousy, because they wanted to be the worlds No 1 military power. The politicians needed a common enemy to rally the people behind them so communism was the in thing to hate. Short of space, but might is always right it seems

My dad travels alot because of his line of work but when he is home we try to do as much as we can as a family because its rare for him to be around. Anyway just to give some examples I remember one time my dad came home from being out of the country and the next morning my mother made a big breakfast and my dad came into the kitchen and my mom said somthing smart and he smirked and said " I should have squirted some sense into you last night". I always have to ignore these types of comments that my parents throw at each other, I'm sixteen i'm not a little kid I dont know if they think I wont understand but its completely nasty thinking about my parents having sex. I cant tell my parents to stop talking like this because my parents are uncomfortable talking about sex with me. What can I do? These comments and stuff are sickning. I'm sick of hearing about my mom getting pounded or whatever. HELP!

A friend of mine had an issue today with his girlfriend and wouldl like an opinion. About a month ago, they got into an argument and she ran to a friend of hers and said all these terrible, untrue things about him. They ended up working things out and now regrets telling her friend these things. She was invited to a BBQ today by that friend and her friend said that he is not allowed to go. Well, she planned on going and told him she did not want him to go anywhere because he needed to stay home and watch the food in the oven. He said, I don't want to stay here all day if I am not allowed to go with you, so I am going to see my friend. She got SO MAD and said he never does anything for her and she just wanted to make him dinner. I think she was only going to make the dinner because she wanted to force him to stay home all day and that she was trying to control him. I think its crap. What do you think?

Hi,

Ive been reading the net alot. and some sites mention (while some sites say it is not true) that DDR 400 is backwards compatible with DDR333 (my brother wants to upgrade his ram, and he has a DDR333 chip in his computer already).

Anyways, id like to know if it is backward compatible, because where I live, DDR400 is cheaper than DDR333.. so id rather get the cheaper option.

Also, will there be better or worse performance compared to running two DDR333 chips?

Lastly, Is it ok to run CL 2.5 Ram with CL 3 Ram?

Thank you so much!

Morality is clearly part of human nature.
Human nature is the product of evolution.
Evolution is a fact.

Hence what we know, and can prove, is that morality is part of our evolutionary heritage - A useful survival strategy which allows us to live in closely packed and highly organised society, and reap the benefits thereof in terms of reproductive success. The billions of people in the world are testament to that.

All this is true, and undeniable. Religious folks want to graft their beliefs and dogma onto that truth, claiming that morality - the exercise of conscience - is something more, something guided or dictated by a deity. However, they never provide justification for believing in the existence of said deity - No objective evidence, no valid argument, just 'faith' (i.e. wishful thinking).

So my question is this: If you want us to believe that morality is anything more than what we know it to be, where's your argument? Where's your evidence?

If you don't get what this is, all I'm doing is asking for song lyrics from any song. It can be your favorite song, or just some random funny song. Or you can just make something up. Whatever you want. I know I just asked this a few days ago, but I love the results. I have to say, it's kind of an obsession to ask this on QuestionSwap, but I do get some good songs from it. So, sing away.

Ok, I am looking for this toy where the child sits on it and they can either make it move by pushing on the ground with their feet or they can just turn the steering wheel back and forth and it will move. Does anyone know what its called?? I think they are relatively new.

We live in a predominantely white neighborhood. The school they go to is mainly white students, staff, etc.
My son was having a hard time in school because he didn't dress like the other kids.
The school counselor suggested I buy him khakis and alligator shirts. (like hell).
Anyway, the point i'm getting at is, I want my kids to experience everything life has to offer. If my kids aren't able to be around others of different races, cultures, etc., how will my kids grow to know that we are all the same, aside from me trying to teach them that?
We are white ourselves and i don't want my kids to be uncomfortable around others. I want them to be kind and get along and have friendships. What do I do?
