I don't know that I would try to classify you as either. With few exceptions we disagree and I am so far right that only with good binoculars and my head turned left can I see Rush Limbaugh. All that said, I do believe we could talk for hours and neither of us draw any blood.

You sound like an anomaly, a product of a liberal education system who may have actually learned "how to think" instead of "what to think". I can assure you that if that is the truth, you did it in spite of the teachers and not because of them. I congratulate you. But, we really need to work on the top three of your list. I think you may not have as many facts as you believe you have.

Hate it when liberals and conservatives argue about stupid s*it---Most s*it is stupid, but politics rule the land and have a profound effect on your life. Listen to them even if it sounds stupid. You never know when you might learn something. When someone says something dumb, check it out, get the facts, you would be amazed some of the things you can learn.

1. Pro abortion is a liberal standpoint. Not just liberal Democrat, but Liberal Republican
2. Pro gay marriage is only a liberal Democrat position
3. Pro War is neither position, Senator Lieberman is pro war and definitely a liberal.

5. Rap music is not relevant
6. You understand Iran at a superficial level. Defending this country should not be political, but the Democrats have made it that way.
7. Your defense of the First Amendment is vague.
8. Your position on sex crimes is a conservative one, but is also a tough one. You are against many liberals on this one.
9. I cannot stand partisan attacks. I am a conservative vote Republican unless I am voting against moderate Republicans(which in my ultra blue state is frequent.)

You're a libertarian. Libertarians believe in the smallest government possible as a means to the greatest personal freedoms and responsibilites possible. Basically, it should be the role of the federal government to protect our constitutional rights, especially from the states. It is the states' responsibility to provide sufficient infrastructure to its citizens. And it is up to local governments and the individual to do as they see fit.

I think we'd all be better off if people didn't try to categorize themselves or others politically, and just dealt with the issues that they actually care about according to their own beliefs.
