Morality is part of human nature, and humans are a product of evolution. Do you have evidence to the contrary?

Morality is clearly part of human nature.
Human nature is the product of evolution.
Evolution is a fact.

Hence what we know, and can prove, is that morality is part of our evolutionary heritage - A useful survival strategy which allows us to live in closely packed and highly organised society, and reap the benefits thereof in terms of reproductive success. The billions of people in the world are testament to that.

All this is true, and undeniable. Religious folks want to graft their beliefs and dogma onto that truth, claiming that morality - the exercise of conscience - is something more, something guided or dictated by a deity. However, they never provide justification for believing in the existence of said deity - No objective evidence, no valid argument, just 'faith' (i.e. wishful thinking).

So my question is this: If you want us to believe that morality is anything more than what we know it to be, where's your argument? Where's your evidence?

"Morality is a part of human nature"...oh, really? Is that why we have so much crime? Is that why people are using planes as weapons and flying them in buildings? No, morality is something that is learned, it is not innate. You need to take some basic Psychology courses and get that information.

Human nature is certainly not a product of evolution. I didn't come from an ape. Maybe you did? If that were true, then why didn't all the apes in the zoo evolve too? Science is continuing to find older and older sculls and bones...and they aren't apes.

It is the Bible, which I may add, scientist, archeologist and others are beginning to understand holds many truths proven in history and science...no surprise there. Haven't you heard of those findings? I suggest you update yourself and your information. You seem to be behind the times.

My arguement? I have proven my point on here time and time again. I suggest you read the Bible, I am sure you, like all the others who seem to be such experts on the subject have never picked it up once. Therefore, you are in no position to comment.

Ok. First you say evolution is a fact. Prove it. I'll bet my bank that evolution can't be proven, because it is just a religion, like anything else. There has NEVER been any scientific facts to back up the THEORY of evolution. Evolution says "billions of yrs. ago, nothing exploded.... then that made rocks, & eventually we came out? That seems kinda hard to believe to me.
If you say evolution is true, then you say we have no Creator, no God. So who is it that decides right from wrong? Who gave us morals? How can we get our morals from a rock?(evolution states we all came from a rock). Also evolution says we were smaller, dumber, & weaker, & we are getting bigger, stronger, & smarter. Thee are lots of scientic facts that point to pple being much bigger(they have found many, many skelotons of pple thousands yrs. old that are from at least 11- 13ft. tall.) than they are now, much stronger(how did they build the Great Piramid?) & smarter( the egyptians back in the day had electricity, & batteries! & such) Creation is so complex how can they just happen from nothing? Have you looked at the human eye? The retina is so small but contains over 137million light-sensitive cells! The hair from a bacteria is like a complex motor. It is so tiny that millions of them would fit in the cross section of an average human hair. DNA are the most complex molecules in the universe. DNA cannot rearrange itself by mere chance. The genetic difference between a human & a chimp. is at least 1.6%. That is a gap of at least 48million nucleotides. And a change of VERY little nucleotides is fatal to an animal. But I said that to say this. For that kind of design you have have to have great Designer. And that Designer created in His image, & gave us a free will, & gave us the standards for right & wrong. That is where we get our morals from. IF it was by chance, why would we all go by the same morals? why not we just do whatever - have our own morals? My moral beliefs could be to just kill everybody who didn't like spiders. You cant say anything cause those are my morals. You can have your own. That is why they came from God. He gave us the standard to by. That is where we get it from.
Have you ever heard of the illistration where two computers are arguing with eachother that there was no designer? One computer says they just appeared from this circuit soup. The other one says of course you were created. Look at your cuircitry! You had to have been created!

No evolution isn't a fact, it's only a theory. Science itself refutes Darwinian evolution. Darwinian evolution is still only a theory, it has never been proven, and thanks to modern science it is now being disproven. It takes far more faith to believe in Darwinian evolution than it does to believe in creation and intelligent design. There is a lot more evidence for creation and intelligent design than there is for Darwinian evolution. A lot of people believe in the theory of Darwinian evolution because they were (and are still being) taught this theory in school. This theory should no longer be taught in school now that modern science is continueously finding more evidence against it. At the time Darwin came up with the theory of evolution, science was not able to disprove it. Darwin's theory of evolution has not been proven. Only 9% of the population now believes in Darwinian evolution.
