Yes, they do
and science is moving
very fast in that specific field.
The problem, is, although they
can identify, they can't truly
correct if something is not
working properly.
Hope this helps.

I think you'll find that many things in human psychology correspond to reigons of the brain. I think that "behaviors" is the wrong word, though some parts of the brain so control the baser instincts and some control higher thought. Perhaps what you're looking for is "functions." Just briefly, here is a breakdown of what different parts of the brain help to control.
The Frontal Lobes: important faculties associated with this lobe include impulse control, judgement, memory, motor control, language control, and so on. It should come as no suprise that when a person gets drunk, the alcohol really messes with the frontal lobe.
The Temporal Lobes: very imporatant in processing sound and sight, as well as verbal communication/recognition, such as names and so on. Inside the Temporal lobes are a small section called the Hippocampi, which are really important for memory.
The Parietal Lobe: basically important for processing the information provided to the brain by sensory organs (eyes, ears, etc).
The Occipital Lobe: it is the main part of the brain for processing raw visual stimuli from the eyes into the images we see.
The Cerebellum is very important for muscle movement, motor control, etc.
One thing to remember is that the brain mostly processes information provided by the body and its surroundings. If you want to talk about specific traits, such as agression or ability to focus or sexuality, you'll want to look into the endocrine system and hormones.
Wikipedia has fantastic thorough explanations of the different parts of the brain and the different glands of the endocrine system if you are interested.
I hope this helped.

Yes they do but behaviours also can be debated around the nature, nurture debate...the answer here could be quite broad....
