Hi. I have Direcway from HughesNet. I use the the DW7000 receiver/modem thing. I am just wondering if this is considered a DSL link, T1, etc. We have a LAN line that connect from our computer to the receiver/modem thing, and a satilite dish outside. Can someone give me an idea what the speed is? Thanks!

I'm 27 and I have a family of my own but my parents just got a divorce a year ago and since then I have been in the middle of all their stuff. My brother is no longer speaking to my Dad becasue of it and I am the only one still trying to keep communication with both of them. This is causing a lot of problems for me because my Mom feels like I am not taking her side. She also doesn't understand why I don't want my kids around her boyfriend much (I just found out that he runs drugs for extra money). I am considering moving to get out of the middle of all this drama because it is really keeping me stressed. Do you have any suggestions as to what I can do?

Or are most of them just egos with a badge. I am aware that there are some great many caring officers around who work hard at their career but for example here in Calgary Alberta the norm seems to be the opposite. I have lived in most cities throughout Canada and have noticed that here in Calgary the local police force is completely lacking a sense of community. It seems for them it's the "us vs them" mentality.
