Khutse or anyone : what do you think of McLaren's slip of the tongue when he said " the door will always be "closed" on Beckham? "

Beckham is a dead-ball specialist. He only comes in handy 4 dead ball situation...I assume dat he'll b further left out of eng squad except he show dat he can play in a central midfield position, rather than right midfield as a player wif pace n good dribbling skill wil b usually emploed in dis position...Otherwise,he's as good as over...Hopefully Fbio Capello can bring out the best of him so dat he can catches d eyes of Steve Mclaren...A friendly doesn't means much as it can b an experiment...Keep on Beck,i'll support u!!!

I was saddened to hear the news today of Beckham being dropped. I will certainly miss him, but there is still a chance McLaren could put him back on the team, so I won't give up hope just yet.

i hope that is not the end of his international career, hopefully he will be playing until at least the 2008 European Championship.
i think Steve McClaren must think twice about leaving Beckham out of the squad. although Beckham performances is not good as what he used to be, he is still an asset to the national team.
come on, Steve McClaren, give him another chance!! he's the best free kick delivery in ENGLAND.

No...I don't think so.
MacClaren said that....he got the reaction he wanted from Beckham and that reaction was that Beckham would continue to fight for his place, and he ( MacClaren ) would not close the door on that.
So...I think..we'll see some more of Beckham in near future...though not much ...for sure.
