Someone told me a nasty story about my enemy, unfortunately it was not true. This person has a reputation for making up stuff- could his alcoholism contribute to this?

I envision a world in which everyone is happy. This world however won't ever become as real the one you live in now. This world consist of to many people that don't care and to many people that care. This means there are people in the world in which don't care about the world and everything in it. These people are that do things as little as littering all the way up to the terrorist. The other group of people are those who use the system to benifit themselfs. Why would I say this is caring to much? I say that because they care to much about themselves. Who has the world's answer. Well I'm sure its not Dr.Phil. What do you think?

There is this girl who has been a good friend...she works with me...one of my friends told me that if you love a girl, make her feel special...I started making sure while I am around she shouldn't have to worry...I was always there to support her...I would wait for her at lunch...but lately I felt she was not comfortable....I aksed her and she wrote me an e-mail that "give me some space...one can not be in mood to talk, joke or party all the time...there is some problem which i wan to solve at my end and dont want to discuss..."

I wrote back..."That I inderstant that sometimes I crossed my limits. And that I will not interfere in her work, crack jokes or sms her any more...be happy"

To which she replied "Thanks for understanding.."

Now friends I dont know what to do...now I have distanced my self from her, but i am very unhappy...what to do..?

A few days ago someone claimed that the illegal Mexicans will take over America. The bricks on the outside of my fireplace are spalling. It was explained to me that the spalling occurs from the freeze-thaw cycle here in Northeast Ohio. Also, I'm wondering if it's possible that the more porous interior-only bricks were used during construction. (Home is about 30 years old.) One contractor told me this is basically a cosmetic problem, another told me it's a serious problem that needs to be addressed. The inspector who looked at this house before I bought it did not deem it a structural problem. The fireplace was wood-burning converted to gas. It's been used twice in a year. It's not really unsightly, kind of rustic looking. Just want to make sure it won't come tumbling down outside in the yard. Any thoughts?

I just bought a cocker-bichon puppy and need help with a name.... My car has an automatic transmssion. When I start it, reverse works fine, but when I put it in drive it does not go into gear. The engine just revs. I then shift into part and back into drive and the gear engages. Once the car warms up it drives absolutely fine. Is this is a transmission problem, can anyone give me some more specifics? Will it get worse? How much will it cost to repair? Any help is appreciated.

The car is a 1997 Chrysler Sebring.
