There is this girl who has been a good friend...she works with me...one of my friends told me that if you love a girl, make her feel special...I started making sure while I am around she shouldn't have to worry...I was always there to support her...I would wait for her at lunch...but lately I felt she was not comfortable....I aksed her and she wrote me an e-mail that "give me some space...one can not be in mood to talk, joke or party all the time...there is some problem which i wan to solve at my end and dont want to discuss..."
I wrote back..."That I inderstant that sometimes I crossed my limits. And that I will not interfere in her work, crack jokes or sms her any more...be happy"
To which she replied "Thanks for understanding.."
Now friends I dont know what to do...now I have distanced my self from her, but i am very unhappy...what to do..?

Don't know what to do? Go back and read your question, she's been very clear, and when you said you'd back off, she thanked you. What more information do you need here?
So you're unhappy. Well, that's completely understandable, you want to be around her, she doesn't want to be around you. So feel the pain, and then move past it. forcing your presence upon her or going back and trying to get her to talk more is just going to hack her off.
She's not the only girl in the world, so stop acting like it. You sound like you've got a decent heart, go find someone you can give it to that will give in return.

i remember that i answered your other question some time back. i am repeating the same old stuff again to you, don't be a "choke a bloc" for her. give her space to breathe. if you want to win over her you would have to attract her to yourself. don't run after her. let her run after you. remember..... life doesn't start and end at her. you can't get everything you desire. you'll get only what you deserve. life is beautiful in so many other ways but she is making your life a living hell.......do away with her for your own sake..

Give her some time liked she wanted. Ask her to let you speak to her for a minute and offer your help with the problem she said she has. Tell her that you want to help her with her problem. She will probably appreciate the help. Tell her your willing to give her space but she can call you if she ever needs help with anything.

dunt be so easy... and try to get her proper friendship first.. where she'll wanna hang wid u... dunt distant jus be natural dude.. treat her lik any other friend... and until she's ur gf... dunt let her know u love her nor try to make her feel special... cos then she's already got all the beneifts widout goin out wid u.. also she'll feel that ur the type whos gonna stalk her if u guys do go out... i know u wanna spend time wid her... but if u really cared and respected her then ud let her get sum space... and dunt try to get into her personal life.... dunt ask her personal questions... jus let her open up by herself... be a good and undeerstandin listener.....

Sounds like she wants her space...leave her alone. If it wasn't to be then you can move on. If it is to be then she'll come back. Can't force anything....
