Do people know what happened in Lebanon today?? Israel sent a bunch of Jet fighters and bomed Beruit. Do you think this whole hype its just a diversion to confuse people? I am a woman and I cannot stand liberated womens' attitudes. I don't think women are meant to be equal to men, we are here to serve men. I think a woman's number one interest should be marriage and family. Women belong in the home, and yes I am for real.

A man goes into a bar and seats himself on a stool. The bartender looks at him and says, "What'll it be buddy?"

The man says, "Set me up with seven whiskey shots and make them doubles." The bartender does this and watches the man slug one down, then the next, then the next, and so on until all seven are gone almost as quickly as they were served. I ordered a necklace with the Holy Cross attached to it. Somebody told me that it might not suit with my current hair-style(close-clippered buzz). What do you suggest? What about--an undercut,chelsea or horse-shoe flattop hairstyle? Serious answers plz.

I've grown up a Christian home. Gone to church all my life. Read the bible all my life. At an early age I learned about getting saved, and at the age of 10 I did ask Jesus to come in to my heart, and to cleanse me of my sin. However, I did not feel the peace that so many born-again Christians speak of when they were saved. It seems like almost everyone cried when they were saved, however I was not moved to tears. Several more times throughout my life, I have asked Jesus to come into my heart again, I tried to be more sincere (thinking that that was possibly the problem, that I had not been sincere enough.) I still have yet to feel that I am truly saved. Perhaps its the devil trying to discourage me, but the lack of that feeling sure causes me grief. When I sin I do repent, but I do not feel forgiven, mostly because I am not unable to not continually repeat the same sin. I am completely out of ideas, I have searched the bible, prayed to God for answers, but nothing comes up.Please Help

What does this clause mean to you? "Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of a religion or prohibiting the free practice thereof." - First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America

Would laws "respecting the establishment of a religion" create a religion or would they introduce an existing religion into the governmental framework as to be recognized by the government while other existing religions are not recognized?

The purpose of this question is to address the difference of opinion that the general public has with regard to the legal doctrine of the Separation of Churh and State in the U.S.
