25 is high. girls normally have a higher index then males. but you should be about 15-20. swimming will help you lose the fat because u r exercising your whole body. 25 is technically obese for any age female. i would try eating a healthier diet, and exercising more. try riding a bike, walking, or jogging, or doing some type of yoga or exercise class.

It is above "normal" but your not in a health risk or anything, especially if you swim 9 hours a week. If your at 25.6 because you have more body fat than you'll lose that, but if you have that because you're more muscular than I'd say your perfectly fine. A normal 14 year old females BMI is about 20.8. Muscle ways 2x more than fat so that could be why your BMI is higher than normal. It just depends if you have more muscle or more fat.

Yes it will help and you need the strength to swim.
And 25.6 is not that bad, how tall are you? You are still growing too, so don't worry too much about the BMI right now, ok?
Trust me, as long as you're active you'll replace fat with muscle.
You are fine!!!!! You are still having your baby fat, once your in full puberty you'll thin out.
25 is not obese, Obesity doesn't start until after 30 plus you have to take the age in consideration.

don't worry about it. Honestly you probably have alot of muscle, and BMI doesn't take into account your frame. I know for me I have a large frame and i am tall too, and slightly over weight yet BMI tells me i'm obese. DOn't worry about it you will grow and thin out and yes swimming does help.
