I like this one guy at school but he likes another girl who happens to be my friend. what should i do should i give it a try or should i just step down. i do know for a fact that the girl he likes, is interested in another person so that is not a problem. the problem is that he is my friend i dont want to ruin the friendship.

Three weeks ago I gave birth to a little baby girl. We have always had a special routine in our home. At bedtime I have never had a problem getting my 4 year old and 5 year old daughters to bed. Now it takes over an hour and a half to get my 4 year old to go to bed. We have been keeping the same routine, however, she will no longer go to bed. She finds any excuse to get out of bed. She will say she has to go potty... she goes just prior to going to bed, she will claim that she needs a drink from the drinking fountain... she has a sippy cup of water by her bed. She will try to get every little stuffed animal she can in bed with her, even though she knows she can only have one. She will cry for a special blanket, every night she wants a different blanket. It's horrible. I haven't had any trouble with my 5 year old daughter. Could this be a way of acting out because of the new baby? Or is this normal for a 4 year old to do this? My older daughter never did this.

That is, a film not on legit DVD or Videotape, but which a studio still has in it's vaults? (No "London After Midnight", for instance.)

I don't count bootlegs in this criteria, since you can't just go and buy them usually. Silent, sound, short, long, cartoon, newsreel, whatever, what do you think absolutely must be released?

I have a great relationship and the topic of marriage may be a deal breaker for us. I think that marriage is a statement that is sacred and says "I love and commit myself fully to this person". I made a decision a long time ago not to "play house". I told my man from the beginning that I would not date him perpetually. He gives me the age old argument of "it's just a piece of paper". I don't buy that one and I am curious about how other people feel.

Ok, this is going to sound weird, but it's true. My cat is about a year old now, and for the past 5-6 months whenever I start to pet her, she starts purring, and then - no joke- starts to suck on her own nipple.. she only does it when I pet her and make her purr. Doe anybody else's cat do this? Can anyone explain this?

I know this question sounds pretty dumb at first look, but my question is this. Take Greece for example: When digging a tunnel for a subway system in Athens they uncovered an abundance of ancient Greek artifacts. They are now building another subway in Thessalonica (see link: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060727/ap_on_re_eu/antiquities_subway_1) and they say that they are digging approximately 65 feet below ground which avoids the 30-40 feet below where they expect ancient ruins and artifacts to be located. What has caused the 30-40 feet of buildup above what was considered level then? That much dust flying around?

Serious question. To tell you the truth I have been on both sides of the ball and I can surely say that being the ignorant jock has more advantages. I was always intelligent and played lots of sports in high school and was very active and social in my younger years. During these times I had a great life while women were interested in me and I considered myself a catch....well, I just graduated with a masters in biochemistry and have found a great pharmaceutical company to work for but I feel like I am not wanted any more by women or those friends who I considered to be hip and fresh. I have invested the last 6 years of my life in academics and feel like there is not too much to show for it but depression and insecurity, not only because my looks decreased because of my time consuming schedule but also because I put my social skills on hold. Don't get me wrong, I love my job and I am working with the most brilliant people on Earth but at the end of the day I feel like an outsider
