Choose the one nearest to where you reside, and contact them : They will send you an online Application Form - with details of the exact Fee involved.

Go to the Chinese embassy and hand over your cash. Very simple. Check out their website (in your local city/country) to download a visa form and payment instructions.

Allow a few days for the visa to come thru.

search the web Chinese embassy in whatever country you are 3 months is the most you can get unless sponsored for business, that can can be had for one year with multiple entries try to stay in south China very nice climate and friendly people

I'm pretty sure you need to get one before going, so head off to your local Chinese Embassy.
