Most IQ tests put the average at 100, so you're somewhat above average. However there are many different IQ tests and it's hard to say where you rank without knowing the specific test you took. Here's some info from Wikipedia about IQ tests:

An intelligence quotient or IQ is a score derived from a set of standardized tests of intelligence. Intelligence tests come in many forms, and some tests use a single type of item or question. Most tests yield both an overall score and individual subtests scores. Regardless of design, all IQ tests measure the same general intelligence. Component tests are generally designed and chosen because they are found to be predictable of later intellectual development, such as educational achievement. IQ also correlates with job performance, socioeconomic advancement, and "social pathologies". Recent work has demonstrated links between IQ and health, longevity, and functional literacy. However, IQ tests do not measure all meanings of "intelligence", such as creativity. IQ scores are relative (like placement in a race), not absolute (like the measurement of a ruler).

IQ is not really an indicator of intelligence, but 111 is like a little above average :)

The only way to determine the significance of an IQ test is to know the highest score possible on that test. Each test has different results, and determining a true representation of the IQ requires more than one test.

111 falls within the “normal” to “above normal” range on the most popular scales. If you took an IQ test online, do not count on its reliability, as these tests fail to offer objective interpretations of the results.

Good luck!

If your IQ is 100 then you are "average". IQ tests are made for all ages. It takes your mental age and divides it by your phisical age. If you are 20 years old and score the same as the average 40 year old then your IQ would be 200.

above average. The average IQ is 90-100, but IQ test vary so much that they are not accurate tests of intelligence. But congratulations, you are above average!

your age has nothing to do with your IQ. if its 111 now, it will be 111 in twenty years. anything between 90 and 110 is absolute average

slightly above average...get into the 130s and then people begin to take notice...it is not so much your IQ as your work ethic and what you do with your potential. IQ will not get you anywhere by itself.

Assuming that the standard deviation of the test is 16 or approximately so, this score would place you in the range of 79th or 80th percentile, certainly above average ... on the edge of the highest one-fifth of the population. Age doesn't make any difference, as norms are established for each age group.
