I've been a Muslim for a little over 20 years, and I have yet to meet a fellow Muslim who is filled with hatred and wants to commit violence.
I'm willing to bet money that most people who believe that Muslims are evil have never even met a Muslim person. It's laughable.
If you have any reason to believe that we Muslims want to wipe you off the face of the earth, then you're only deluding yourself. You're not that important. If you believe that Muslims are "mindless sons of bitches" (alandicho), then I suggest you remove your head from your unholy place before it starts to affect your oxygen intake.
John B, what in God's name is a "co ran"? Is that word misspelled incorrectly on purpose, or are you just proving how ignorant you are about Islam to the point where you can't even spell the word correctly? I'd much sooner believe that the sky is green than believe that anything you say has a grain of truth, if you can't spell such a simple word.

I think you can't group all Muslims together any better than you can group all Christians, Buddhists, Jews, or Hindus together, but overall, I believe they're a truly enlightened and cultured people. Many Islamic countries are struggling right now, but for more economic and political reasons than religious ones. As individuals, Muslims are equal to everyone else. As a religion, Islam has good and bad, just like any other religion.

I think most do not give us a fair chance..The media has portrayed a bad image of Muslims..People are not trying to realize that does not condemn all others for the actions of some..It seems like lately it is all about the Muslims..its like a fad--find some class of people to disrespect daily and make fun of..Not caring that we have families, jobs, bills, problems of own--but now we have to deal with the constant harassment from racist people..So tell me..when will it end??

That there are good ones and bad ones just like in any other religion. I think that they are greatly misunderstood by Christians that are uneducated about the Muslim religion and also because of all the middle east conflict and the way the news portrays Muslims.

Like most large popular religions there is a group of peaceful people who just want to practice their faith in peace and then there are people who take certain aspects to the extreme and cause chaos, pain, and death. This can be seen in most religions and civilizations for that matter. In my group of friends there is a devout Jew, a devout Muslim, and a some what backsliding Catholic and so far no one has tried to kill the other but Football season is coming up in America and we will see what happens

I try not to. I teach school in a large district that has many Muslim families. They seem close knit and their children seem well taken care of. The children are a delight, and parent contact is never a problem. So my attitude is a positive one. Remember, Islam is a religion and all its followers are individuals. It is not a monolistic sect where they all think alike.

They made good contributions to humanity a few hundred years ago, but lately...they seem to be going in the wrong direction. They seem a bit obsessive - compulsive. Also, they don't seem to get along very well with Jewish people, Christians, Non-Muslims, Muslims, the environment, Hindus, atheists etc..
I wish we were friends with them.

I simply think they are a people caught up in a religion brought on by ignorance, as long as you do not educate your people it is very easy to convince them of just about any thing you want, again we must remember the co ran was written by a man to and what is so amazing about it all is it was all written 7 to 8 hundred yrs after the death of Christ and that tells me that it is nothing more than an amazing story.

Well frankly speaking, with due respect to the community as a whole, because of "some" people (the terrorists)this community is looked upon as being the main culprit. And i think its high time tht islamic countries should come out freely against terrorism not like the SELF - PROCLAIMED war against terrorism by
Mr. BUSH !
