I like this one guy at school but he likes another girl who happens to be my friend. what should i do should i give it a try or should i just step down. i do know for a fact that the girl he likes, is interested in another person so that is not a problem. the problem is that he is my friend i dont want to ruin the friendship.

If she is really your friend just ask her.
if she is not in to the guy you like than you have green light and can let him know that your friend interested in somebody else.Become his friend first and see where it takes you.

Love a person who loves you otherwise the result is negative moreover this is your study time and you should concentrate on it. Dear Sandy, in this case does your friend love him too? If Yes then better for you to step down first, give them a chance, however your friendship and her happiness more precious t keep.
If your friend doent love him....then give a try girl, it`s ok, and your friendship will not bother too.

give it a try it wouldn't hurt just don't go through what i did i was going with a girl and my best friend tried to steal her away from me and well because of him she broke up with me and then my best friend and i just gave up on her and we are best friends again
