Whats not to agree about. If you don't want your kids on there, keep them off.

I probably wouldn't want to agree to let my child have a myspace page. Honestly, I feel that parents should allow kids to be on the internet only for education purposes. How to do it? Create a family office/computer room where no one would have to sit in front of the computer behind close door. So that eliminate the chance for kids to 1. flirt online with any strangers, 2. create a homepage behind your back.

Also it helps tremendous to sit down and talk to your kids about the downside of chatting with 'strangers' or having a myspace page. Let them know that the most dangerous are those who seem harmless. Just be open about it.

Just my opinion though.

Agree with them on what?
As a parent, who has a myspace account, NO, I would not...and do not let my child have one...But he's really not old enough to even know about one yet, so not sure what I'd do ....or will when he's older. Probably won't have to worry about it then, it'll be some new space or something :P

If your kids are on myspace, you should also have an account or at least monitor what they are posting and saying. It's really for young teens, not adults, so there is a big chance that you'll be exposed to some real creeps.

Nope, don't agree with it, don't like it, won't allow my children on it. I check history CONSTANTLY to make sure, and I even have an account on there (so I can check) and make sure they don't set up accounts. All any parent has had to do recently is watch those Dateline reports about the pedophiles, ALL of them were on myspace chatting away with people they thought were young teens.

I'm not a parent, I'm 21. I don't have a myspace myself and won't be getting one. I would not let my kids on it. It is too easy to find people and for people to find you. I mean, one slip (i.e. posting a phone number) and someone can track you down easily (i.e. reverse phone search). There are also inappropriate videos and pictures on some pages that can be viewed by anyone.

not a parent yet but have many younger siblings. I don't want them on myspace. Too dangerous. Too many creepy sickos out to get their jollies off of touching kids. None of my siblings have a myspace account, and never will.
