While I understand that yes, our government might have taken a while to respond and didn't keep the public informed on what was happening, don't you think that the criticism from the evacuees is a little excessive? No, the conditions were not the greatest. Yes, you had to take a 16-hour boat ride instead of a 20 minute flight. Yes, some people suffered from sea-sickness. Yes, it was hot and you were tired, hungry and thirsty. But guess what...your alternative was to stay in a war zone, so what is better? Be thankful that your government rescued you at all...that you are alive and safe! Stop complaining...what exactly were you expecting?!

I'd like to hear your opinions!!!

We often hear Americans in a flap because petrol (gas) prices are at an all time high. When I tell them that we pay 3 or 4 times as much in the UK, they usually say "Yeah but we drive several times as far in a year, in the US". I don't think there is a great deal of difference in UK/USA average car milages. Anybody got any accurate figures?

My sister broke up with her bf 3 months ago. Her bf never tried to ask for a second chance.Last night the guy sent a message to me that he misses and still love my sis. Have a car I'd like to trade in (paid older car), but a few years back I got a personal loan and used my car as collateral. Can I trade my car in?
