No, in fact it will help stimulate blood flow which will aid in the healing of your muscles and make you less sore in the long run.
You don't have to do a lot, and if you are too sore, exercise a different muscle group.

What wuld be really good is to do some mild stretching and stuff like that. No intense exercise as it could make it worse. All depends on what the soreness is from however If it is from illness or surgery then you should not be doing ANYTHING until the doctor says so. If it is from exercise then the next day do a light workout. Always stretch before and after.

Sore means something different to each of us but for me, if I've had a hard workout and find myself stiff and sore the next day I'll spend some time in the gym doing some easy stretching, all the time drinking my old friend H2O. If the stiffness goes away as I stretch maybe I've move on to some exercises that don't affect the parts of my body that had been hurting. Learn to listen to your body, if after stretching I'm still feeling like crap, I bag it and go home and relax.

No, it actually helps move the lactic acid out. Well, it also depends on the level of soreness. Imagine stickin glue on a rubberband then pullin really fast... the rubberband breaks at the glue point. Same with your muscles the lactic acid is the glue. Workin out while sore promotes circulation thius helpin the soreness but too much too fast may hurt you. If you are so sore that you have limited very limited range of motion then i say walk briskly and stretch... thats it.

Depending on why you're sore, it can be helpful, or harmful. If you're just tender or a little sore, then gentle stretches and exercise will help keep you from stiffening. If you're sore because you tore something, you need to keep it immobilized and maybe see a doctor for treatment.

it depends on how sore. if you are sore but can still walk or clean your house you aren't too sore. but if you are extremely sore you should take a day off.
