i am a nurse and often have to shift from day to night to day shifts. i typically have at least one sleepless night before the following day shift. i don't think this allows me to give the best patient care so i'm looking for ways to make the transition simpler.

I was over at my sisters today and my neice asked me to buy her an ice cream from the arab dude in the ice cream truck and I told her no. She then told me she would be good if I got here one, insinuating she intended to be bad if I didn't get one. I told her no again so she kicked me and threw a screaming kicking tantrum complete with crying, there were people around so I couldnt shut her up except by getting her ice cream so I did and she stopped.

I have been seeing this man on and off over the past ten years, he means the world to me... back in Feburary he told me he feels nothing for me.. I was heart broken, I never seen it coming.. And the thing is I'm pregnant with his child and now he's treating me like he's never met me.. I am 30 years old and blown away with by the way he is treating me. But the worst part is I miss him and want to talk to him..What do I do? I know I should forget about him and move forward but I can't seem to let go.....
