Physical changes :- Practical examples

1) Boiling water in the kitchen - Water is converted in to vapour
2) Putting ice cubes in the juice - Solid ice melts in to liquid water
3) Cooking the food - Physical change as well as chemical change
4) Stretching elastic - Length and shape changes
5) Crushing the food inside the mouth - physical change
6) Grinding the flour - grains converted to powder
7) Forging the steel to make some article - physical change in shape

Chemical Change :-
1) Cooking the food - Food undergoes Physical as well as chemical change
2) Burning candle - Chemical change called combustion
3) Digestion of food - food particles broken, reacts with gastric juices and getting absorbed.
4) After cutting apple- you can see colour changes to brown after some time - that is due to chemical change
5) You might have noticed rusting of iron articles - rusting is a chemical phenomeno of Fe becoming Fe2O3 (Iron oxide)
6) Rubber vulcanizing- involves chemical bonding

Chemical Change- new products are formed
example: NaoH + HCl --> NaCl + H20
Physical Change: No new products are formed. Just a change in phase, color, siz etc.
example: melting of water.

chemical changes , changes the nature of matter but physical changes, change only the appear of matter. to melt ice is a physical change but to form sodiume cloride from clorine and sodiume is a chmical change.

that is easy physical going by shape of item by chemical is going by molecules and atoms.on physical u can go back on same thing easily nut on chemical it is not that easy.physical doesn't attack model of item by chemical does.

eg- change of ice into liquid
-change of liquid (water) into gas(vapour)
-changing metals in ornaments
- crystalization
-heat the sugar and it turns into charcol
eg-rusting of iron
-nitrification
-formation of metallic oxide
-formation of oxides
-milk changes to curd
-purification of water
