i really like this guy and he obviously like me too. we kissed and everything. but the problem is he was with this girl since he was in high school and just recently broke up with her. but he's not even trying to forget her. he's been avoiding me because he doesn't really want to move on. and i really really like this guy. should i keep trying or should i leave?

high school love hard to forget. well if u kissed and hes avoiding u then i think that tells u hes not ready to move on. i think u should be hey lets just be friends for now and when ur ready we will c. he doesnt have to be ur man now u know. all in time. so stop trying to make him urs and try to be his friend. he is hurting i bet and needs someone and when hes through with the hurt hes going to go to the one who was there for him. so i hope thats u. so dont leave he kissed u so just go in as the friend and then become lovers. so u said u like him show him by being there for him. good luck

Well...yah, i agree, make sure he isn't using you as a rebound. Give him space if that is what he needs. Also let him know that you are there. If you can, be there as a friend for now...and who knows what later. But if you don't want to invest the time, then you obviously don't like him that much, so move on. Best wishes, its a hard call.

The question is do u want him. If like him then go after him. Tell him listen i understand that u just broke it off with your girl lets be friends and date and see what happens I will be here to help u. That shows u care and u understand what he is going thru. now u are going to listen to ex girl stories if u can deal with that handle ya bus little mami. If u let him slip by someone else miight get him.One thing u know if he is happy he is a one woman man.

I think it is obvious what you should do, and I think you know it. You say that he obviously likes you too, but then you say he avoids you because she's still in his mind. Be honest with yourself girl, and KNOW that you deserve a guy who pays attention to you and treats you right. Someone who the only girl that is in his mind is YOU... it will happen if you move on. At this time he still thinks she will come back to him or is trying to win her back, so just back off till he finds she no longer wants him, at the moment he will not appreciate you trying to win his love, just be there, give him some sympathy and a shoulder to cry on and see how it goes. But still remain very feminine, be a friend do not become a mate as Australians say (like one of his male friends, drinking friends) You want his heart not his friendship.

Give him some space..not along time but enough to make him come to you...If he has just broke up with this girl he may not want to get involved right away for fear he will be hurt again.......Alot of guys can be pigs but this guy might actually be hurting.........Let him call you and when he does and he will , Tell him how you feel

give him some space and some time to forget the other girl. If he doesn't, then he will probably not care for you the way you want him to and will eventually hurt you. If he forgets the other girl, then you should try again.
