depends on what you want in it.
my daughter makes ones with dried rose petals, a few drops of geranium rose oil. then she sews them up in little pillows.
We put the dried things in jars with what ever else(oils or such) and leave it for a week or two before making the pillows.
I like a mixture of dried peony petals, orange skins, whole cloves and crushed cinnamon stick.
I also make lavender or jasmine ones for gifts. You can do the same with olive or almond oil to make bath oils. i let my oils sit for 2 wks before using. we collect and dry all of our materials through-out spring and summer. We also make sleeping or stress pillows by stitching an appropriate size bag then fill it with uncooked rice, lavender and mint and stitch it up. These can be heated in microwave for 30-40 sec or put in freezer.
