Don't forget Jujitsu! I am just a by stander to the sport, but do enjoy watching mixed martial arts fights. Most of them are well rounded at tae kwon do, jujitsu oxing, wreslening etc .... So really if you were looking to learn one I would investigate and find one that is well rounded and start there learning the rest will fall in place in training ..

Brazillian Jiu Jitsu and kick boxing are what rock the MMA(mixed martial arts) world. Some old fashioned American wrestling doesn't hurt too. The welterweight champion of the world in the UFC STARTED with old fashioned American wrestling and has been defending his belt for YEARS. He's had like 40 wins with the belt.
Of course, I wouldn't sell any of the martial art styles short. Any Grandmaster could beat the ba-jesus out of 1/4 the fighters in the UFC in their weight class(I imagine).
