Private Citizen, was just wondering when you can cuff if the person wasn't cooperative. I work security but during my training it seemed quite vague. I know better be sure if you put your hands on someone but from your point of view how does it apply when your dealing with someone out of control.

Ive fallen for a guy ive been seeing the last 4 mths, he didnt bother getting me a card or a present for my birthday yesterday. He said he had forgotten his own sisters birthday and will get me a present and his handwritting is terrible to give me a card. I would never do that and now think he couldnt careless about me. He knew i was upset today but ive just phoned him and hes in bournemouth with his work mates which is miles away, am i expecting too much????? I dont know what to do im falling for him and i think he cares by what he says to me but i dont know now.

Whole Foods said that they will no longer sell live lobsters because they want to show compassion and respect for them, that it is inhumane to sell a live lobster that will subsequently be boiled. But, they are still going to sell frozen lobster meat, lobster bisque, and lobster and crab salad.

So mommy, is this one of those special Liberal logic thingamagigs where you do a little something to feel good about yourself, yet keep doing the same immoral things you always have done?

Mommy, so are they saying, hey, lobster need compassion, so we will only sell them if they have been killed PRIOR to getting to our stores in nice frozen bags of tasty meat?

i know alot of people knock the nhs, but recently i cant. having kids, i find myself up A&E alot more than i would if it was just myself.this morning my son had a nasty accident with a pair of scissors. we called an ambulance and were taken to hospital. as luck is, his eye was ok.
we were admitted, seen, and discharged within the hour.
peadiactric A&E was quiet and we were seen straight away.
am i just lucky with my local hospital?

I'm studying mechanical engineering because it seemed so cool to me. Currently, I am an intern for a company and have been viewing the engineers closely. This company does mostly large scale projects for other companies. The engineers I have seen in the field are always moving from city to city, working out of little trailers staring at drawings all day cursing the people who created them and requesting more information to relay to the workers. The engineers that I've seen in the corporate offices, usually because they have been with the company longer, also stare at drawings all day, estimating materials and searching for problems.The engineers who have been with the company for a very long time have nice offices and look at everyone elses drawings to make sure they didnt screw up. When I joined began my study of engineering, I had dreams of staying stable in a city(not moving from place to place) running cool experiments and solving unique problems. Was I in denial this whole time?
