Whole Foods said that they will no longer sell live lobsters because they want to show compassion and respect for them, that it is inhumane to sell a live lobster that will subsequently be boiled. But, they are still going to sell frozen lobster meat, lobster bisque, and lobster and crab salad.
So mommy, is this one of those special Liberal logic thingamagigs where you do a little something to feel good about yourself, yet keep doing the same immoral things you always have done?
Mommy, so are they saying, hey, lobster need compassion, so we will only sell them if they have been killed PRIOR to getting to our stores in nice frozen bags of tasty meat?

Hey, as long as Whole Foods doesnt stop selling live babies for consumption, I could care less what they do for compassion towards Lobsters. Just make sure I have a steady supply of fetuses, and I could care less....
Maybe you should ask Mommy why conservatives dont like to give money to the poor, but dont have a problem subsidizing the Oil Industry, who made record profits last year..... Yes, the rich need assistance more than the poor. And you concern yourself with lobsters??

I'm not your Mommy and why do you need to be so sarcastic? Why do you need to blame these people you refer to as liberals? Why do you get off so much on division? Just ask the flippin' question dagnammit! Whole Foods has alot of vegetarian customers who were probably offended by seeing lobsters about to meet their doom. They are very sensitive people. Sensitive people are very good at caretaking, still a very respectable value in this country. Don't knock it. Try being nice sometimes. It doesn't hurt that much. Whole Foods is a business trying to please it's majority customers. If you want to see a live lobster, just walk your free American feet over to a place that lets ya see live lobsters. HELLO freedom goes both ways. How would you like it if the vegetarians became the majority and stopped allowing you to see your live lobsters anywhere? huh? you gotta give to get.

Well son, since lobster's don't get mugged and then raped we tend to be more sympathetic towards them. Because lobster's can live freely in the ocean if they wanted and not have to go on welfare or perhaps have little baby lobster with AIDS or heroin addiction, we tend to be more compassionate. Due the the fact that some lobsters won't have to grow up with a mommy lobster who is only 12 or 13 years old we feel more for them. So when you see a lobster on the shelf little Johnny, remember that it's mommy loves it and she chose to have it when she wanted to have it and wasn't forced into having it because the big mean old sharks and hammerheads made her. It was HER CHOICE.

why do you say all those nice, intelligent liberals are responsible for all the abortions in America? Isn't it the individual woman and the individual doctor that choose to do this? Well, dear, this comes from the same group of people who will raise thousands of dollars for a pair of orphaned cougar cubs in California. They raised thousands of dollars to fund a home for some cougar cubs which became orphaned after their mother attacked, killed, and partially ate a lady jogger, then was hunted & killed for being a danger to humans.
Now, she was a mother of children,but remember, she was a human. We care about animal rights.......humans can go eff themselves.

I've always wondered why some people show a lot of compassion toward animals and trees, but almost none toward people. I don't get it either. I love animals too., but at least treat people just as good as you do animals. Many of these people do seem to be "liberal".
