PANCHO; You've got my support, all I've been seeing are questions and answers to bash Italy. I've also noticed that the more they bash Italy the more Italy is determined to win..So you know what I say??? Let the losers bash Italy, it's going to get us the World Cup......Forza Italia and Italian haters please keep bashing Italy...I LOVE IT!!

Are you serious? There are way more people (including YOURSELF) bashing France.
You should seriously stop and think before you ask these types of questions especially since you're the one who's labelling all French people as racists and all sorts of things.
I haven't seen one person bash Italians. Of course I'm sure there are a few people bashing Italian people, but there are so many more people bashing France talking about throwing dynamites and stuff like that.
Edit: How am I an idiot? I didn't say anything about you that was untrue. Just because you edited your post in that other question does not mean that you didn't call French people racists and state that you dislike all French people.
Personally, I like both France and Italy, so don't jump on me for making a neutral observation.

The Aussies hate Italy for obvious reasons. Even so, would Australia have won that game? Nobody knows.
Some Americans hate Italy because after the Australia game Italy were accused of cheating. Since they have video replay and more than one referee in their other sports, Americans can't understand that soccer is different and diving is practised by almost every team in the world. Plus, they are used to games with stratospheric scores and can't appreciate a team who plays defensively and so far hasn't scored more than 3 goals per match.
The English hate Italy because they think they play dirty, while England (allegedly) respect the rules of fair play. They forget, however, that stomping on another player's crotch isn't exactly fair play.
The Portuguese hate Italy because they are being bashed too, so they are happy to bash some other team themselves.
The Germans hate Italy because Italy won fair and square over Germany. That made them even madder. They were hoping for Germany to win, or at least for Italy to cheat on them. Sorry my German friends, as you could see, Italy can "FuÃball spielen" too, and they did it better than your team the other day.
The Spaniards hate Italy because Italy won 3 World Cups, while Spain never made it beyond the quarterfinals. Plus, they have a great goalie, Iker Casillas, and it pisses them off that Buffon is more experienced and better than him.
The French hate Italy because they are facing Italy in the final and, of course, they want France to win the cup.
The Brazilians and the Argentines hate Italy because they'd like to be the only ones who play great soccer.
The whole world hates Italy because they think that Italy is just spaghetti, pizza and mafia.
The soccer scandal going on in Italy doesn't help. Well-informed people know that it has nothing to do with the team playing the World Cup, though. Only, very few people on Yahoo Answers are well informed...

Because a lot of people hate Italian football. Why anybody would be jealous of Italian football, I have no idea. In fact, Ecuador, Trinidad and Tobago, Portugal, Ghana, Australia, France, and Ukraine have a lot to brag about. Italy has played excellent football in four of their six matches, ITA-GHA, ITA-CZE, ITA-UKR, ITA-GER. ITA-USA and ITA-AUS were an embarrasment to Italian football. Based on those first four matches, you deserve to be in the Germany FIFA World Cup 2006 Final Match. Yes, in the Australia game, you probably would have been beat them if it wasnt for an awful call that gave you a red card, so although the penalty call was a bad call, ethically, it was the right call because you probably would have scored earlier if you had eleven players. That being said, do you really think that a team that cant beat the United States with a man advantage for 45 minutes really deserves to be in the final? That is one thing I dont understand. After the United States' premature exit, everyone says they were always awful, dont deserve to be here, 2002 was a fluke, etc. And yet, you couldn't score on them for 45 minutes when you had a man advantage? Do we really want that team in the final? In the GER-POL match, a close match, GER got a man advantage with 15 minutes left in a 0-0 game, and they managed to score. So, while based on 2/3rds of your matches, you look very strong, on the other 1/3rd, you look pretty poor. Also, Italian football tends, in general (not nessesarily all of your games), to be very boring, with a lot of defenders and few goals. Also, Italian football players tend, again, not nessesarily all of your players, or all the time, to dive just a little more than others. In fact, you could argue that, but Italians tend to get away with it a lot more. Which, quite frankly, really pisses a lot of people off! Maybe that is why "Everyone" posts "ITALIAN bashing questions"? Because Italy tends (again, not always!) to play inconsistent, boring, low-scoring, cheap footbal, and get away with it. Now, to all of you Italy fans who are just waiting to scream at me: Your knock-out matches against Ukraine and Germany were very well played, hard-fought, deserved victories. Again: You deserved your wins against Ukraine and Germany. You played very well, didnt dive any more than they did, and didnt receieve help from the ref. Congatulations on those victories and good luck in the final.

Colin W not bashing you as I say this but the reason that when Italy plays in the World Cup they tend to be more cautious than in club play if you ever watch a Juventus vs Inter Milan than you will see great soccer but Italy plays it smart in the World Cup because they want to win because it comes every 4 years and they tend not to care about the European Cup and the reason why Italians play rough is because in their leagues it is less strict and you can get away with stuff like that...like the De Rossi elbow would be a yellow in Seria A because they aren't as strict so thats why you see Italians playing more rough...GOOOOOOOOO ITALIAAA!!!!

Dude you are totally right. I love Italy to the end win or lose of course it will be win though. They have played with elegance through out the cup even against the teams that have played for the body and not the ball.

yea i find that to be ridiculous i mean Italy beat my team (Germany) but i don't bash them may the best team win the final i really don't care who wins as long as i get to see a great display of football
