The idea is this:

You bet rows (they pay off 2:1). Your initial stake on let's say ROW 1 is $1. If you lose that initial stake of $1 on row 1, you bet $2. You continue to bet $3/4/$6/$9/$13/$20/$30 until you win. In the long run, your supposidly able to beat the sytem.. Anyone have any comments about this? Does it work?

My 50 something yr. old uncle got full custody of his 18 month old daughter. The mother signed over all her rights. He drives a truck for a living. I keep her while he's gone. Hre only comes in and sees her for a day or two each week. One time it was only for 3 hours. I have two boys already and she hears them call me momma so she has started to also. Is that appropriate? Oh and I have rights to her. If something happens to him, I get full custody.

I have a friend with three young children. She doesn't pay attention when she drives. She has totaled 4 cars. Every time I ride in the car with her, I fear for my life. I feel like I could die at any moment. Her driving is jerky and inconsistent, she has road rage, and she is always tailgating and swerving into the other lane. She comes to screeching halts almost every time she stops. I can avoid riding with her but I am worried about her kids. She is married but her husband acts like nothing is wrong when we are all in the car together. I always tell her to be careful driving but I feel like I should say more. What would you say?

I have some fresh chineese noodles (cellophane wrapped) and some herbed potatoes which just need heating in the microwave but both packages have a USE BY date of July 4th. Today is July 6th so are they still safe to eat? Thanks for the advice people!

I have been on and off with my boyf for 4 years. Everytime we go to take our relationship one step further he runs a mile, because this has happened in the past I had learnt not to push him into anything but when he wants to get a place together, we start making plans then the next thing he runs off again. My normally docile female cat has begun hunting and sometimes killing the wildlife in our garden. Nothing is off limits and frogs seem to be as popular as birds.
We have recently moved to the area and I'm wondering if she is picking up the habbit from other cats - my sister who lives a few doors up has the same problem with her cat, which brings home 'presents' almost every day. Since both cats have been playing together the character of mine has changed. I've tried keeping her in, however, this can only ever be a short-term measure.
This may seem trivial to some people, but I do not like animals suffering (they are not all dead when she brings them in) and although I know this is a basic characterstic, none of my previous cats have hunted to the same extent or ferocity.
