You get about a week after the expiration date, most of the time. I've even had dairy (non-fat) last two weeks longer than expiration date.
Things like where is it being stored (fridge temp, direct heat, sunlight, next to an open window), is the packaging intact, and *what it is* play a HUGE part in if it's gonna make it. For the potatoes I'd say because they're produce, if they're slimy or browning, then don't eat them. Is the smell off? Don't eat them. Otherwise, they're fine.

Throw them both away. These are not expensive items and it is not worth the risk.
Fresh noodles could have egg in (as in egg-noodles)
Herbed potatoes - butter/oil/who knows?
Why does anyone buy potatoes already herbed? What the heck is wrong with buying potatoes and putting your own herbs on them? Gawd! Kids of today. blah blah blah.

A couple of days on these will be fine - I wouldn't do it with meat or fish, but noodles and pots are OK. Do make sure that you heat them thoroughly, just to be sure.
Hope they are yumm - at least you know for sure what you are having for your supper tonight!!

do they smell and look ok..... cook them and taste a little if they taste ok then I'm guessing they probably ok
I just hope it isn't like the guy who puts the best before date on our milk because he is uncannily accurate (it says 4th July on the bottle, so at 11:59 on the 4th of July you are drinking milk, and a minute later you are drinking yogurt lol)

Items like these are likely to be good beyond expiration date. Dairy foods are most likely to be bad after date and meats tend to be bad as supermarkets stretch the date as far as possible.

Still safe. Dates on premade items are set so that you have 5 days guarantee of freshness.

There is always wiggle room with the expiration dates. 2 days is no big deal. Eat up!!

They should still be fine for a little while. Eat them unless they are green or growing stuff.
