According to this, and Christians who have told me this story, God put rainbows in the sky to remind us that he will never flood the Earth again. Correct?

If this is so, did rainbows not exist before this time? Because before the bible was written, and definitely before Noah's time, ancient people recorded the phenomenon of rainbows all around the world.

I work in a convenince store, he accused me of stealling cigarettes, I asked him how did he get the idea I was stealing. when we start and finish a shift ,we count the cigaretttes,and he said I was always short. He has cameras on us, so I told him to look at the tapes, because I didn't steal anything, he said he dosent have tapes, only the paper we count our cigarettes to prove it. The person on the shift before me could have stollen the cigarettes and still counted that they were their, Right? So how can he hold money out of my last check!!!! I dont want him to get away with this!!!

I'm bringing this up because of issues in the PGA/LPGA and other sporting venues. It's great the Michelle Wie wants to qualify and play in a Men's event, but what would happen if a guy wanted to try and qualify for women's event? Also too - given the women's lib movement, has it become more equal or as the balance tipped to the women's side of power?

Well...let me explain further. There is a reason why I posted this question under "Physics". This is what I am after, the physics or counter-acting the earth's gravitational pull. Some kind of engine or field generator that would free the vessel (car) from being pulled back down to the ground. Hey, just like the Stars wars rides...aren't those just about the coolest freaking things. Or the hover board in Back to the Future. Can you imagine the reduction in fuel expenditure. Your only opposing force would be the drag coefficient from the earth atmosphere (wind) and that is it. You are probably thinking how to stop and how to do it in a hurry (ie. slam on the brakes) well, I don't know yet, that is why I am asking this question. I don't want propellers or any other wind-repelling crap. I am sick of waisting trillions and zillions of gallons of fuel to move crap around. Look at the Discovery today, that is soooo gross. Look at all the fuel that it takes to break the free from the g-pull..
