From Islamic Point of view, Knowledge is vital part toward knowing the right path. So any reliable source of knowledge is a river you are advised to learn from.
Islam pays much attention to your intention from learning. If you want to learn for deeping your understanding and widen your scope of knowledge, it is very encouraged. and Muhammed told Muslims to discuss and learn about Bible and Torah as this would increase the faith in the areas of interest.
Also, the other is always means to understand oneself.

Yes, indeedy, study as many religions as you can get your little hands on.
One reason: Expand your knowledge so that when you stand and declare your religion it isn't just because that is all you know but, because you have researched and made an educated decision.
Another reason:
As a Baha'i, I was learned that religions are "progressive revelations". This means that one builds on the last.
Like school grades:
In 1st grade you learned basic addition and subtraction.
In 2nd grade you learned to use addition and subtraction for multiplication and division.
In 3rd grade you learned to use your past lessons for algebra.
Every Manifestation comes to raise us to the next spiritual level, the next grade level.
To achieve the next level of spirituality, you must first learn the lessons of the past Manifestations. Thus, the need to learn about/from the past religions.

I think it is important to learn from other religions. There is much they can teach you, whether you believe in them or not. The Baha'i faith advocates seeking the truth.
There are many ways to expand your faith in God. I would recommend doing what you feel in your heart is right, regardless of what anyone else thinks.
Best wishes.

Studying religions is unquestionably a good thing. Why be ignorant? When you do this in a completely intellectually honest way, you learn that every religion on earth, without exception, is based on mythology. "Know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

In John 14:6 Jesus tells us, "I am the way the truth and the life, no man cometh to the Father but by me.
So if I can't be saved any other way, why would I want to look at false religions and false gospels.
The is NO other way to be saved but through Jesus, the Christ.

In a word...yes.
In two words... definitely yes.
The first book I used in the discovery of other religious faiths was called The Illustrated Book of Sacred Scriptures. I liked it because it showed the comparisons between the belief systems of many different faiths.
Good luck in your journey

The true religion is only one. As the God is only one. All these hundreds of branches is nothing more than interpretation of it.
So whan you can learn from the wrong branches?????
Find the true one and learn it
