Being a UK citizen, I had no great feelings one way or the other. But I know It is a deliberate policy by your Government to encourage racial disharmony and increase tensions. Your government, like most first world governments, is keen to ID, monitor and track the lives of all the people living there. In the UK we are bringing in the compulsary ID card, with its Big Brother database back end. There will also be satalite tracking of all cars, (a congestion charging measure) and other legal devices used to monitor and track the population.

The good people of the 'Land of the Free' may not take kindly to the whole population being numbered, tagged and tracked like so much cattle, so...

IT'S A DAMNED DISGRACE. SOMETHINGS GOTTA BE DONE ABOUT ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION!!!!

It's a time honored technique, used by governments throughout the ages, Problem, Reaction, Solution.

The Government wants a solution that they know their people will not like, they then create a problem that cuases a strong public reaction, then they introduce the solution that they had in mind all along.

You know in my opinion I do not like it because,I t took me 12 years before I became a U.S.naturalize citizen and the time I was holding F1 visa I paid taxes every year for 6 years while I was working so I received my green card 3 month after I applied. Then I had to wait another 5 years to apply for citizenship and 1 year before I had my chance to sworn in.( my last tuition was $125 per unit and I did pay for all my school and no financial aid or free money as the way illegal people are doing now.
You are right that they illegal broke the law and demand the government to grant a quick visa while others who go to the front door have to wait for 12 years and some of them have to wait more than 20 years By the way,I devote my time to volunteer without pay almost 16 years and almost full time.Tell me if some one want to accuse the legal immigrant like me pick on our illegal friends,I am telling in my real true story.

People people...America is a melting pot, it's always been and it will always be and worse with lots of new countries in the past century.
Come on, America is not taken over by force. America is the result of immigration. It was founded by immigrants and therefore it's fate is the home of lots of more immigrants.
Have you asked the Native Americans what they think when they see the American flag around their millenary lands? Have you asked Eskimos or Hawaiians what they think when they see the American flag around their land?
We should stop the whine and concentrate on more important issues....it's time....

The U.S. Govt paid the Mexican GOvt money for the Southwest after Mexico got it's butt kicked and a few years later the U.S. purchased even more land.

As a descendant of Veterans I am fed up with Illegal Aliens invading our Country so I say if you are able to do so then burn the Mexican flag.

It was a stupid thing for them to do. If they are so patriotic to Mexico, why arent they marching in the streets of mexico city with that flag. They did a dumb thing, but it is because most, not all, are uneducated. The latino race has the highest rate of drop outs here in the Los Angeles area where I live. They are just plain uneducated and hungering for all of Americas hand outs, paid by me, a californian born citizen.

NETJNR, BlUFFMIKE
What are you 2 on about? Not integrating into 'your culture'..you cant have mexican friends..what a load of bull! American culture isnt homogenous, you are after all the mongrel nation - your nation was built out of immigration and their culture is as much a part of Americana as your white culture. Face it guys, you havnt got a single white culture, its either european-based, mexican-swinging or afro-american. The 'Americans' were all but wiped out, if you care to remember.
And saying things like you cant have mexican friedns is divisive and utter stupid. Your just being a Nazi and seeing colour and ethnicity, people like you ruin the chances for future peace. So what if their Mexican? Of ocurse they can be friends, your just being a complete ignoramous!

Nah,it doesn't bother me.Freedom of speech, and all that.I guess they are proud of their heritage just like you are of yours.Besides,at those marches, most of the ppl were mexican-american.They were supporting their families and friends.

How did the Honduranian and Guatamalan flags make you feel? They were there, too.El Salvadoranian and Ecuadoranian also. Not just Mexican.

Thanks for defending our country, and relax a little. No one is invading you.

I stormed out of a grocery on May 2 because of the big Mexican rag displayed there. I voiced my displeasure, as well. If you think you can have close Mexican friends, you are sadly mistaken. They care only for Mexicans, not for you, not for America (except what Affirmative Action programs they demand as their due).

Fernando's answer is the proof. He's ignorant of history ,but sticks up for Mexico first.

It made me irate. This is the United States of America. Assimilate or get the (bleep) out. They know it hacked us off, that's why in the next round of pro-illegal immigration marches they passed out zillions of American flags, which hacked me off more. Close the border! (Yes, I'm willing to pay $10 for a head of lettuce to protect my home country)

Angry. Then I thought, "They are really making fools out of themselves. If they want to be in Mexico, go back." This IS NOT AMEXICO. This is America! They don't want to be Americans, they want to make it Mexico. They make up the most stupid things and then call them facts. Did you read the signs that said, "We were here first."? How is that when they had to cross the border from MEXICO to get here? You see the stupidity? Criminal mentality is pathetic and disgusting. They tend to be very uneducated, even the ones who were born here tend to drop out of high school. It's kind of obvious, though. I think their flag looks like $--t compared to ours. We affectionately refer to it as...the buzzard rag.

My precious dad is a Viet Nam vet. There are no words to describe the respect I have for him and for his service to my country. I also wish to extend my gratitude to you and please allow me to say.....

AMERICAN TIL DEATH
