Do you have any regrets or do you still feel that you made the right decision? Not trying to judge anyone here I am just trying to understand. My mother was pushed into one 30 years ago and has emotional problems from it still. I am just curious how others have dealt with this.

I talked to a guy I met online and we had decided to meet this week. I sent him an email as soon as I knew what evenings I was off this week. He didn't respond till late lastnight when one of my days off has passed. He said he might be able to meet today but I haven't heard from him as of yet. I don't like last minute dates with strangers. I am off today and want to do something with it. I am on standby because I don't know if he is going to email me later to say he can meet (he works during the day but has time in between clients sometimes) I hate the idea of wasting another day waiting to see if we are going to meet. Should I wait to hear from him or should I just find something else to do with my day off? I am going through a phase of guys that won't set a date day and time. I think first meetings should be planned at least a day in advance.

all the popular female singers lke Mariah carrey, Madonna, jlo, britney et al seem to be oozing with sex. how much credit to their voice, and would you still like to hear them, if they were not so sexy? why male singers can gain popularity irrespective of their looks? like Eric clapton for example? plin, spectacle- wearing, no funky accessories? how would you explain this?

I know that no other flag is supposed to fly at a higher level than the U. S. Flag. I remember reading that that in a group of flagpoles (ex. U. S., State, and Organization) that if the U. S. Flag is flown at half-staff, then the other two must also be flown at half-staff in order to not be flown at a higher level. I recently brought this to attention of the pastor a church that has a grouping of three flagpoles, with the U. S. Flag being in the center and also on the the tallest flagpole. I told him that, according to my understanding, they incorrect and was told that it didn't matter as long as the U. S. Falg was at half-staff. I did not agree with him, but could not prove my point.

I have since been searching many sources for this information, and have not been able to find sufficient information to prove my understanding of the proper manner of display of the Flag in this type of situation.

If anyone can help me answer this question, it would be greatly appreciated

Once upon a time there was a stork family - papa stock, mama stork and baby stork. One evening papa stork didn't show up for dinner. Mama stork and baby stork left the food out for him but he didn't come home at all that night. When papa stork finally did come home the next day, baby stork asked, "Papa stork, where were you last night?"
"Out making a young couple very happy," replied papa stork.
Several weeks later, baby stork was late for dinner. Papa stork and mama stork were worried. Their anxiety increased when baby stork still wasn't home by sunset. They both waited up late for baby stork but he didn't come in until early in the morning. His feathers were rumpled and unkempt. Papa stork barked, "Where the hell were you, baby stork?"
"Out scaring the sh!t out of college students," replied baby stork.
