I was wondering that myself.. i guess it's just that you know everything about a person that they become predictable and then the routine starts to kick in and there is no more excitement, no surprises and then the excitement starts to fade, faster than we like

Auntie,
Men do not take for granted after they marry.
It's the little women who took for granted in being the Boss at home.
Doing everything by herself.
Never request or express that you need a helping hand.
Instead the dirty old men just keep quiet pretending nothing happen and let you do all the dirty work at home.
Try and throw a pillow to wake him up.

People tend to take a lot of things for granted...we often don't realize what we've got until it's gone (or we nearly lose it). In relationships, it tends to happen because the "wooing" is over...after marriage, the challenge has ended...people allow everyday life to take over, and stop paying as much attention to their relationship as they did before it was a legal committment.

You need to sit down and talk to your husband. Discuss ways to rekindle that fire and desire. You SHOULD be great friends, but also lovers, confidants, and still totally passionable about one another. If he's taking you for granted, you are guilty of allowing it (he can't do it without your permission)...show him how much he means to you, and let him know you need to know how much you mean to him.

Actually it happens to both partners. Daily life takes its toll on both sides. Women are as guilty as men. It's not only the flowers that disappear.......So sorry to say the respect for each other dwindles as well, in so many small ways.

In the day to day life of most adults, we develop routines. Wake up, go to work, come home, eat supper, shower, to to bed...etc...

In dealing with day to day obstacles and hassles, we (not just men, but men and women alike) tend to lose sight of what attracted us to each other from the start. The more we commit ourselves to this routine, the dimmer our view of the attraction between us becomes until finally, neither can remember it at all and our routines become who we are.

Both of you should do something every day to show that you're still in love and attracted to each other. Something as simple as a kiss or telling someone that you not only love them, but are in love with them can make a huge difference.

I am enjoying my married life after having 3 kids as we feel it is better to make the best out of everything than hate each other. We are married to each other and have no way out.If you think of it that way you will tend to work at your marriage rather than take it for granted.
It takes two to work at it.

It's human nature. When you with someone for a long time you start your brain starts to ignore things that the other person says or does. It's like eating your favorite food every day.

That's why you have to spend time apart and also make the effort to spend quality time together.

consult someone who is authorized to give marital advice... she can help you a lot... so you would know what is missing on your relationship... sometimes we women are preoccupied by so many activities at home or outside... and we forgot our duties as a wife... as a lover of your husband... etc... you can patch up things to bring back the love that is fading

YOU JUST HAVE TO KEEP IT INTERESTING...
TRY TO FLIRT WITH HIM.....
DONT ACT LIKE AN OLD MARRIED LADY...
ACT LIKE YOU WERE WHEN YOU GUYS WERE DATING..
HE MARRIED YOU BECAUSE HE LOVES YOU ...
NOW THAT YOU'RE MARRIED HE FEELS LIKE HE DOESNT HAVE TO DO ALL SWEET THINGS ANYMORE...
SHOW HIM THAT YOU MISS THE FLOWERS AND YOU MISS BEING INTIMATE WITH HIM...SOMETIMES GUYS ARE CLUELESS WHEN IT COMES TO OUR FEELINGS..YOU JUST HAVE TO TALK TO HIM AND LET HIM KNOW THAT YOU FEEL LIKE HE DOESNT DO WHAT HE USED TO DO TO YOU..TELL HIM THAT YOU HE LOVES YOU BUT SOMETIMES YOU WOULD LOVE TO GET FLOWER/CARD FROM HIM TO SHOW HE CARES...AND THAT HE'S THINKING ABOUT YOU..
AND YOU SHOULD DO THE SAME...ACT MORE LIKE YOU WERE WHEN YOU GUYS WERE DATING..
